    God is absolute.

Use your cognitive skills. The entire Chapter 3 is about the arbitrary election of wicked people to salvation. If this won't break you loose, maybe God will recall it to your thinking sometime before you die.

An open letter from a political prisoner

We saw some of the same extremes and possibly worse back in the 60s. Unarmed students were shot down in cold blood by Government troops. War protests and riots, The SDS, major riots, assassinations, and so on.

    God is absolute.

Keep in mind, Antichrist has ravaged Protestantism. His false teaching is in nearly every "evangelical" church.

    God is absolute.

Calvin was off in many ways. That is why we have Baptists and the 1689 and earlier London confessions. But Baptists today have no stomach for it. So it sounds strange even to bring it up in a supposedly Baptist forum.

    God is absolute.

It's in Chapter three of the 1689 London Baptist confession as far as Arbitrary goes. See if you can make sense of it.

    Gift

Spiritual death does not allow for any salvation. So we are quite on track.

    Gift

If God saves you before you respond it is grace. If he supposedly saves you after you respond it is works. Not that you and others are not saved.

    Gift

Many respond but they don't hear it spiritually. And turn it into law with salvation based on obedience.

    Gift

What can a dead person do to be saved when they cannot tell the true Christ from an idol of their imagination?

    Gift

DID Adam die spiritually the day he sinned, as God said? Or physically? We were born dead in Adam.

    Another Study . . .

We still have evidence you are not safe with the new variants. As Han Solo told Luke, "don't get cocky kid".

Spiritually dead. “AND you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts...

    Gift

How about the gift of life imposed on a dead person? The state you were in before God brought you to life according to scripture?

What about the recent tornado outbreak and God?

“The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, And will not at all acquit the wicked: The LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, And the clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3 (KJV 1900)

    God is absolute.

If you do not think God arbitrarily chose to glorify His mercy in you, what is the reason He saved you?

    God is absolute.

Calvin put us on to the truth, but the Synod of Dort defined it, but only in the first three of the five points.

    Gift

According to John, people "receive" Christ as they do a pat on the back. I received Christ, not of the will of the flesh, but of God.

    God is absolute.

This is a basic doctrine of historic Calvinism. It is under the heading of Supralapsarianism or Infralapsarianism. I teach the Infralapsarian view. But unless you believe in Limited Atonement, you will never see any value in it. Most of the Reformed and early Baptists creeds are Infralapsarian...

    God is absolute.

In the limited atonement sense, Christ bought us which means are Christ's body. We have Christ's own value imputed to us. We deserve all that He deserves. Even though we are worthless in Adam. So God arbitrarily divided the worthless lump of sinners in Adam, arbitrarily assigning some to...
