Paul said the gifts would cease. And this is proof they did.

Catholic Bible Prooftexts Overlooked by Evangelicals

Is the Papacy the Antichrist? The first written history suggests Arnulf, the archbishop of Reims in the 10th century identified the Papacy as the Antichrist. Later Joachim of Fiore in the 12th century preached the Papacy was the Antichrist. And the archbishop Eberhard II in 1240 also related the...

    Vaccine killing Chilldren

Why did Paul place his friends on Medicine if the gifts are for today? “Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.” (2 Timothy 4:20) (KJV 1900) “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities.” (1 Timothy 5:23) (KJV...

    Vaccine killing Chilldren

He still heals through the prayer of faith. I've experienced this a few times. But the signs and wonders of the Apostles, raising the dead, restoring crippled limbs, and such ended with the Apostles. They were meant to identify an Apostle.

He uses means. Notice Paul stopped healing miraculously after it served its purpose of confirming his apostleship. The Epistles show he placed his sick friends on medicine.

    It's absolutely true.

    Vaccine killing Chilldren

If you have a biblical worldview, God kills people with his four sore judgements, not only in the OT, but even in Revelation. But he protects his elect in times of judgement. The disease is one of his judgements according to this. But the vaccine is to protect the elect in the midst of it. He...

    God is absolute.

It's arbitrary by his teaching on the subject. You had nothing to do with your damnation in Adam or your salvation in Christ.

    Vaccine killing Chilldren

People have an appointed time of death. And the vaccine works according to this. I'd be careful in how you see this. Because the vaccine is effective for those He meant for it to be.

    God is absolute.

What you are missing is "why did God create". Paul says in Romans 9 and in Ephesians 3:9-10 it was to reveal His mercy and wrath along with His manifold wisdom to the heavenly authorities. Sin is the only way to contrast mercy and reveal wrath. The fact that God arbitrarily chose you for this...

God's election of individuals to salvation/Reprobation purely arbitrary

If you have a lump of damned sinners, and you carve out a chunk of the same and send Christ to the cross to pay for their sin. You can treat them as though they never sinned in Adam or otherwise. This is the arbitrary selection of individuals for salvation. And God is no respecter of persons.

The dogs eat from the children's table. All happens for the sake of the Church, even the health of the reprobate.

    Vaccine killing Chilldren

But God gave us the vaccines. Be careful how you see this. It is blasphemy to attribute the works of God to the Devil.

Is all of Mark inspired by God?

There is more than a platter full for you to choke down.
  16. 1689Dave

    God is absolute.

God is not a respecter of persons. So far NOBODY can answer why God chose to save them without implying the false doctrine that salvation is by works. Why did God save you?

God's election of individuals to salvation/Reprobation purely arbitrary

Could it be you do not understand so you assume I don't either? The eternal decree has no time, it is eternal but unfolds in time. That's why scripture always says "and it came to pass". But he chose us as wicked lost sinners whom he hated (unless you are Supralapsarian), having no merit in His...
