    Your Five Favorite Bible Translations?

I can certainly understand your point of view. But I believe having more options is a good thing, also.

    Gender Inclusive Updates ...

I'm finding the truth in that statement more and more. I believe the changes made over the years in the ESV are quite reasonable. And the CSB also does a very nice job, in that regard.

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

Yes, I believe the NIV (2011) got a little carried away in what they did. And that why I prefer the CSB.

    Studying versus Reading Aloud ...

And now I find myself favoring the CSB for both studying and reading aloud. :)

Christian Standard Bible ("Do Over") :)

I find the CSB to be the perfect balance between "word for word," and "thought for thought."

Christian Standard Bible ("Do Over") :)

I've recently made the CSB my primary Bible translation. And I'm very happy with my decision.

Christian Standard Bible ("Do Over") :)

Christian Standard Bible (PartII) ... Let's try this again, shall we? (And I'll try to ignore sarcastic remarks). ;) In any case, I'd appreciate knowing your thoughts and opinions regarding the Christian Standard Bible (CSB). Thank you.

Who do you identify with in the Bible?

For me, it's David, because I can definitely relate to many of the Psalms he wrote.

    Your Five Favorite Bible Translations?

Well ... I, for one, have grown weary of people saying that the NASB is "wooden," and, therefore, simply giving up on it. Since the updated NASB addresses this issue, I welcome its addition to the NASB's "family," so to speak.

    Your Five Favorite Bible Translations?

Agreed, but if the latest edition causes more people to want to give the NASB a try, I'm all for it (in that light).

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

I do not have the ESV Reformation Study Bible (although I once had it in the NKJV, which I gave to a friend who primarily uses the NKJV). The ESV Study Bible, on the hand, I do have. And what an incredible resource it is! Highly recommended, as we say.

    For the love of reading

As far as Frank Herbert's Dune novels go, I enjoyed reading the original trilogy: Dune, Dune Messiah, and Children of Dune.

    For the love of reading

Yes, that was Ray Bradbury's reaction to it, as well. Lol

Does it bother you that the team in Houston is known as the "Gamblers?" ;)
