    Red Letter, Verse Format

Also: I much prefer the red letter editions published by the Lockman Foundation (Foundation Publications) than those published by Zondervan. The red letters found in the NASB Bibles from Foundation Publications are a dark red, which I find to be more pleasing, and much easier on the eyes than...

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

I am just so pleased that the Lockman Foundation has decided to continue publishing the NASB (1995) for the foreseeable future! I would have been devastated, had they decided to discontinue it!

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

I'm glad you pointed this out, because I don't want to find myself being too harsh in my judgment of the NASB (2020). And I would much rather have a believer choose the latest edition of the NASB over either the CSB or the NIV, that's for certain!

    Red Letter, Verse Format

    Your Five Favorite Bible Translations?

Wow. Well, I suppose it goes to show that we shouldn't be too enamored of any organization devised by men.

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

I suppose it's "a sign of the times," perhaps?

    Gender Inclusive Updates ...

Gender Inclusive Updates ... When an existing Bible translation is updated, and the update results in "gender inclusive" language, how do you view it? In other words, do you view it as a positive change, or as a disappointment?

Popularity of the King James Version (KJV) ...

It's interesting that the majority of Pentecostal churches seem to still favor the KJV, isn't it?

For those who use the New King James Version (NKJV) ...

For those who favor the Textus Receptus and the Majority Text, it's a great blessing, I'm sure.

    "Formal" vs "Functional"

What do you think of its use of "Yahweh" in the Old Testament?
  15. alexander284

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

Yes, the more I've been comparing it to the NASB95, the more I'm seeing that.

    Changing doctrine:

Can adults get to heaven if not water baptized?

Popularity of the King James Version (KJV) ...

That's a very good point. And that's often overlooked, I imagine.

Re: Men who like the KJV, but not the NKJV ...

Is there any other reason not to use the NKJV, other than the fact that it's not the KJV?
  20. alexander284

NASB (1995 Edition) versus NASB (Current Edition)

Yes, I agree. And the updates are not even improvements, are they?
