Where was Jesus for 3 days?

Those “facts” are straight from your interpretation of those scriptures. To deny them is to disagree with you. That puts you in the place of God, when you won’t allow even God to have a different meaning from the one you’ve chosen.

Calvinism and Arminianism foreknowledge compared with respect to time

but that’s just His revealed will. His decreed will is what He really wants. Can’t you see how your theology demeans God and turns His character upside down?

Hmmm. What about a sub-atomic particle that comes into being? Does He just know it, or does He somehow observe it? I couldn’t find much reference to subatomic particles in Hebrews. Let’s say for just a moment that a scientist were to perform an experiment in which he created a runaway nuclear...

Are you worshipping me? If so, I hope you don’t worship God that way, by arguing with Him. But if I’m not accepting worship, then I’m not in the same boat as Herod.

If I’m not humble enough, according to you, it’s because God wants me to be proud.

So symbolic war is ok? What is it symbolic of?

Did God have a choice whether to decree or not? If He’s only complete with His decree, then He’s incomplete without it. And if His decree includes the creation of mankind, including you, then You’ve just said God needs You to be whole.

Thanks for the response! Tell me, does God just know how many hairs on your head, or does He actually number (count) them?

I designed and built my house. I’ve written a song. I made up the OP for this thread. God made man in His image, including creativity. Adam’s first act was to come up with names for the animals, and God was eager to find out what he would call them. Are you saying God made up those names...

Rev 12:7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

Then you’d have to say that God was incomplete before He created humans. Again, your theology is sad.

You have a verse that says God wanted him to SIN? Or just to go to battle? Going to battle is not a sin, in and of itself.

Agreed! God is not responsible for every evil thought and deed. But He created all “things” in heaven and earth. He created people who can have their own thoughts, and can act out in evil or in righteousness. If in evil, they need to repent of the deeds they performed. What do you do with Jer...

He determines the final result He wants to achieve, but doesn’t make people sin. Thanks for the comment!

God doesn’t want anyone to sin—If He needs sin to be fully glorified, then He’s dependent on sin—God can’t exist without sin in your theology. How sad!

Spared them from what?? Penalty for what??? For doing what God wanted them to do? Let’s consider the Lord’s Prayer: Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. If God’s will is already being done on earth, and always has been, why does Jesus teach us to pray this way?

It’s a pointless sacrifice without sin, and if everyone is doing exactly what God wants them to do, there’s no sin. Unless God is schizophrenic.
