I have a question, what evidence is there that there was an LXX that existed before the time of Christ and the Apostles? I have heard often that the Apostles quoted the LXX, but I am wondering if that is really the case?

A few points 1. The question is not whether or not sign gifts will cease, but when, have they ceased, or is the ceasing yet off in the future. 2. As for James 1 I fail to see how that proves anything. When James 1 was written the NT was not even completed.
