    Churches Rarely Reprimand Members

The only first-hand experience of church discipline I had involved a teenage girl, Deacons daughter, who got impregnated twice, while unmarried. On the second go-round, she was removed from church membership.

    Churches Rarely Reprimand Members

Agreed: Hear no evil, see no evil, no repentance called for! Besides, the money source is not threatened.

Church Unity Is More Important Than Being Theologically Correct

Would you be a member of a church that has historically practiced/endorsed speaking in tongues but does not make it a requirement for membership?

Church Unity Is More Important Than Being Theologically Correct

Until recently, most Baptist Churches took the position that "the husband of one wife" meant the husband of one wife. Then in the 70's or 80's many Baptist Churches adopted a different interpretation to say it means "the husband of one wife at a time". 1Ti 3:2 KJV - A bishop then must be...

Church Unity Is More Important Than Being Theologically Correct

"Why is it necessary to pit one against the other?" Are both Children of God? If so, I agree, both are important to God and the two should not be pitted against on another. Otherwise, they have no common-ground on which to base a discussion. 2Co 6:16 KJV - And what agreement hath the temple...

Church Unity Is More Important Than Being Theologically Correct

"An article in the Orange County Register reports that Rick Warren, the man dubbed “America’s Pastor,” has launched a new program called “King’s Way,” the purpose of which is to promote peace and unity between Muslims and Christians. As part of their effort to promote their mutual goals...

Why Christians Vote Republican Despite It All

Any and all of "today's evangelicals" covered by the Blood of Jesus Christ are excluded. Praise be to God for His mercy.

    Should Christians take political sides?

Would you consider the Pope/RCC among the so-called Christians speaking Christianity out of one side of their mouth and politics out of the other?

    Should Christians take political sides?

Please identify these so-called "politicized Christians" if you can. Also, who are the "we" as in those "we" need to reach? How do you know "It will warm the hearts of those we need to reach" - all of them or just some of them?

    Should Christians take political sides?

Western Civilization = Our Rights. I agree that "civil rights" are derived from the experience(S) of man throughout history and are not from eternity past through God. Civil rights can and are abused by our fellow man daily. The rights I have as a child of God cannot be denied me by my...

    Should Christians take political sides?

For a Christian, where do you believe such rights originate and by what authority?

    Should Christians take political sides?

Very interesting and provocative statement with which I agree. I have taken issue with the "...right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness" statement from the DOI many times.

    Should Christians take political sides?

I wholeheartedly agree. When the Holy Spirit convicted me of my sinfulness I did not look around to find someone to compare myself to, I was burdened with the truth of His conviction. I do not look to any human being for a consistent example of Christian living.

    Types in the Old Testament

Sorry, it seems I got the wrong impression.

    Types in the Old Testament

I prefer not to invoke the law to provoke me to maintain a holy, separated lifestyle. 2Co 6:14 KJV - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 2Co 6:15 KJV - And what concord...

First Female President: Nikki Haley, Not Hillary Clinton

Regardless of Haley's shortcomings, having to choose between her and Lying Hillary, I'd vote for Nikki.

What are Your Thoughts on the Looming Air War with Syria?

What is our motive? To stop any/all countries from using gas to kill people? What about other forms of killing? Based on history (ancient and recent), if we are not willing to bring a government to total surrender, including with "collateral" damage, stay out of their affairs. Reality...

    False Facts

I would include: Inalienable/unalienable rights granted to mankind by God. "...among these, life, liberty and pursuit of happiness." What are the others not listed?

Don't deal with your problem(s), blame others.
