I will agree with you that being mentally ill is not sin. HOWEVER, the Bible clearly tells us that homosexuality is a sin and those that dress as the other gender are being sinful so I don't think that God sees this as a "mental illness".

It is such a great resource for churches. We've used the videos for studies, groups and family stuff. :) Very worthwhile!

Actually, the Lord does love people but He hates sin. He created a man as a man and no matter how that man alters himself, he is still a man. God still calls him "he". The Lord does not accept sin.

A church is not in business to meet the "felt" needs of people. It is there to bring the gospel to people and to grow mature believers. What are the "needs" you have? Why is it the church's job to meet these needs?

Sadly, this ad has been playing on our local CBS radio station. The end is so stark and the man has no idea what hell is all about - since he doesn't believe it anyway!
