    Witnessing to Catholics

And I can honestly say that giving a Catholic a tract like this will not convince them of anything. The best thing to do is to study the Scriptures with them. It takes time.

Calvin: God is the Author of Sin

"For the proper and genuine cause of sin is not God’s hidden counsel but the evident will of man," Calvin, Concerning the Eternal Predestination of God (London: James Clarke and Co., 1961), 122.

Vaccine skeptic RFK Jr. says he'll chair vaccine commission for Trump

That is. There is not ONE scientific study that shows that autism is caused by vaccines and actually the studies show that they do not - but you will still get the scare tactics of some. :(

Man Shocked To Learn Black Letters In Bible Just As Inspired As Red

LOL - What's sad is that there are actually real people who do believe the red letters are more inspired.

I'm sorry QD. I will pray for you and your family.

John R. Rice on lifestyle evangelism

Hmm - I don't know one person here who despises contact evangelism and I don't know any Christian who does either. Can you show me where people here despise this? Actually, I believe it would be more YOU who despise this kind of evangelism - actually being in contact with people and sitting...

Evangelism ideas on distribution of 15,000 tracts

How are you paying for these with the debt you have?

Did God Use Natural Disastors For Exodus Event?

I love a definition of "miracle" that someone told us: A miracle is a natural or unnatural occurrence that is uniquely timed to bring glory to God. :) We are studying Judges right now and in chapter 4, we meet Deborah and Barak. We see that when they went against Sisera, Sisera had 900...

thinking from moving for the kjv to the esv

Not just a publisher but the maker of probably some of the finest Bibles out there. My husband got one for his ordination as a gift from the church. That Bible is gorgeous! I ride horses so know good leather (saddles are worth thousands of dollars) and this Bible smells as good as my saddle. :D

    Christian heavy metal

Yep - but they are still around. Our youth pastor went to see them a few months ago (he's a child of the 80s/90s). :)

thinking from moving for the kjv to the esv

Really good suggestion! This way you can track with the pastor but have it in a little bit more contemporary wording. :)

thinking from moving for the kjv to the esv

Go for it!! Obviously it will be different following along with your pastor in church but you could always go ahead and use your ESV for your personal study and continue bringing the KJV with you to church.

The connection between: Loving Jesus—Obedience—Eternal Life

Unfortunately, you seem to be blinded to the truth of Scripture. You take the stance that you earn your salvation - it is not of grace. It is not God's doing but yours. The Scriptures are very clear but you need to read them without you false beliefs and preconceived pride. All of this is...

Pediatrician group speaks out against National Geographic’s 9-year old ‘trans’ cover

Yep - they are a small group of very conservative pediatricians. I agree with some of what they say and I believe that there was something I didn't agree with but I don't remember what it was. LOL

Pediatrician group speaks out against National Geographic’s 9-year old ‘trans’ cover

It's just so stupid. My friend's daughter wanted to be called "Steve" when she was little. She is now in college and wrestles - and rocks a dress. She's a girl through and through but not a frilly fluffy girl but a girl who gets down and dirty digging ditches on missions trips but will sit...

The connection between: Loving Jesus—Obedience—Eternal Life

Hmm - I wonder why someone thinks there is such a thing as an unbelieving believer.

The connection between: Loving Jesus—Obedience—Eternal Life

Those who are alive breathe. One is a result of the other and not the cause. I'm sorry but there is not one. HUH?? "But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that...

    DL Moody

I've said this before but our county has a pastors' group that meets monthly for prayer, encouragement, worship and sometimes some teaching. One of the benefits of this is that they get to know each other really well and from that, we've been able to tell people some church suggestions so it's...

    DL Moody

Yep - Church is important. It doesn't save and people don't walk in the doors suddenly hit with a "knock you off the horse" moment and when we invite people to church, we need to bring them with US and encourage them. "Go to church" doesn't really cut it on its own. :)
