The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Yes, very interesting! ... I don't really care about Judas ... But, is belonging to a ministry mean the person is a stalk of wheat (or maybe a tare)? And we have goats, foolish virgins, etc.

What verses say that faith is a gift that God gives man?

Yes, but WHO are all of these wonderful verses of exhortation referring to?

What verses say that faith is a gift that God gives man?

Yes, but WHO are all of these wonderful NT verses of exhortation referring to? Do they refer to BACs who choose to be partakers of habitual sin (and the N. A. churches are full of these)? Are such people really still "in Christ" for whom there is NO condemnation? How many NT passages would...

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

IMO, Judas was never a believer, especially compared to John, Peter, James, etc. But, I could be wrong! Sorry, bro', poor example ... but, carry on!

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

The problem is ... Today's Laodicean "believers" don't understand what True Saving Belief-Faith really is! Your favorite type of verse (like the above) is ... God's way of catching the little fishes in His net. Later, the Holy Spirit is supposed to "lead into all truth" His little babies. But...

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Here we go again! It seems that all "believers" think they satisfy the above requirements! Because of the false doctrines that Satan has deceived them with (through the churches). P.S. There are many more NT passages that disqualify many of today's so-called Christians.

What verses say that faith is a gift that God gives man?

I can give you 25 NT verses which say ... man is unable (on his own) to believe in Jesus and His gospel. It's all foolishness, etc. Aaaah, but he doesn't choose to view it as foolishness ... he just can't help but see it as foolishness!

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Whichever one is correct ... it does not matter ... the elected believer has the God-given free will to reject God's salvation. Who wants to see the "rejecting God" NT verses? Do those who reject God (and His plan, and His rules) get into heaven? Believers are not robots. They may choose to...

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Your Romans 8:29-30 has conditions attached for one to be ultimately glorified: they must LOVE God, and be CALLED according to His purpose. Okay, you believe that everyone who was initially saved was called, etc. But, if they actually LOVE God, they will OBEY Jesus' commandments, and they will...

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Everyone knows that OSAS means "Once Saved, Always Saved". And according to the whole of the NT, OSAS is from the very pits of hell. It's a great shame that all believers do NOT understand that they have a mortal enemy: Satan is the greatest liar and deceiver in the history of our world. He...

    He That Overcometh!

Oh, so that's what Jesus did! ... He accepted Himself as Savior! Like I said, get someone to explain to you what Jesus is saying in Rev 3:21. Or perhaps, you don't want to know what He is saying ... to you and to us!

    He That Overcometh!

T'would be nice if someone could explain to you what Rev 3:21 is talking about.

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Please give me a break ... This has absolutely nothing to do with your interpretation of John 10:27-28. News Flash ... This has nothing to do with you personally! It has to do with what the NT teaches about OSAS, or no OSAS.

    He That Overcometh!

Gee, is that what this verses means? I'm gonna hafta go get a new brain, heart, soul ... everything! 'Cause I must not understand nuttin'.

    Conditional Salvation

I'm quite speechless ... God bless you, brother! ... You have received spiritual revelation from the Lord.

WOULD YOU QUIT THIS NONSENSE ??? Your John 10:28 applies only to those who follow Jesus! (John 10:27) Dost thou havest any clue what's involved in following Jesus? HUH? Those BACs who choose to NOT follow are in danger of perishing! E.G. those BACs who are involved in habitual unrepentant sinning!

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Faith is not a work Faithfulness is not a work Enduring in the faith is not a work Loving Jesus is not a work Obedience is not a work Practicing righteousness is not a work Repenting of your sins is not a work etc. All of this is merely "your reasonable service" (Romans 12:1) What else would...

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

Yes, I'm not sure that you are wrong, by any means! But, there are a multitude of NT verses that say man is unable (on his own) to believe in Jesus and His gospel. Why don't you start a thread about it?

The result of loving Jesus and keeping His commandments

You left out the most important part ... the conditions, the pre-requisites, found in the previous verse! IMO, very few today meet them.
