    Preterists still won't give up...

Do you watch star trek? I believe you get the bible and that show mixed up sometimes. Whats that matter? The prince isn't the subject. And you should get some commentaries on that verse, and read them. If you wouldn't take it clear out of context, the verse means, people will search to and...

    Preterists still won't give up...

You believe a phantom planet is coming to earth. So ill stick with what I believe How is that preconceived? I take it at face value, the People of the prince came a destroyed the temple. It already happened in AD 70. Im not adding anything... you are. That has nothing to do with Daniel 12...

"I admitted to you formerly, that I and many others are of this opinion (temporal 1000 year reign), and [believe] that such will take place, as you assuredly are aware; but, on the other hand, I signified to you that many who belong to the pure and pious faith, and are true Christians, think...

If you do not understand what I believe why do you misquote me? Yes it was, there is nothing that implies differently, you pervert that passage to fit your preconceived idea. are you taking that from Daniel 12:4 and thinking thats talking about technology?

    A bit more about "parousia"

    The Reformers and their Stepchildren

Christianity became its weakest when Rome became free, before that pagans and Christians were separate and you knew it, afterwards they mixed. I thank the Lord we live in a free country, but the downside to it is that there is a lot of fake christians, fake churches. Anyone can call themselves...

Preterism remains false - Did Jesus lie? NO!

On another subject though I was surprised though, most of the members on there are Reformed Amillennialists. Taking a almost futurist POV with out the literal Millennium. Very few are Pre.

Preterism remains false - Did Jesus lie? NO!

Yeah I've seen but I have no clue. Im on a Southern Baptist FB page, and the members mostly bash it as landmarkish, with no supporting history. Ive never even heard of it before this. So I am out of the loop. I was raised mennonite.

Preterism remains false - Did Jesus lie? NO!

I did mean, that robycop3 said the falling away is happening now, But I believe it was much worse during the papal rule than now. At least I have a bible I can read in my own language.

Preterism remains false - Did Jesus lie? NO!

Im not sure about that book, I know many members of the Southern Baptist Convention (which is the only baptist church around these parts I would attend) in the US dismisses it as pure fiction, and recommends many other books on the history of baptists.

Preterism remains false - Did Jesus lie? NO!

In your opinion. The 1000 years of papal rule in the middle ages was not worse? Where was the true church during this time?
