I am not disagreeing with you but you seem to miss the point that it was the men that allowed the women into that position. And you asked if there were problems in the church prior to the women pastors and I pointed to the RCC.

The only one that I know of that did so was the RCC. There may have been others but you are still stepping past the real issue. Before there were women pastors there were only men in that position. If those men had not allowed women pastors then would there be any?

But you seem to have looked past what the real problem is. Male pastors chose to allow women pastors. The problem started with the men's failure to uphold the word of God. If the male leadership had said NO then you would not have the problem in the first place.
