Please do not sense or free speech about kkkovid when the BB does not have a kkkovid policy.

I know I am not always right....neither are you. But we do not hold beliefs we believe are wrong.

Jon, maybe you are unaware but he and his wife have my wife and I on prayer chains. Regarding hurting others, that’s not really his intent and when made aware of that he is forthright and does apologize. You should have more patience with him... and this is coming from someone that generally doesn’t interfere in people’s disagreements.

You know me. I just deal with what is posted- not people as I do not know them.

What offended SGO was my statement that I believe Christians should abstain from secular politics, but at the same time was grateful we had Christian politicians.

I guess I reacted to his talk of free speech after that. It sounded so hypocritical- i.e., people should speak freely as long as I like what they say.

He said that comment injured him and from there I have had to read his insults, abuses, and skanders.

I do not believe @SGO is a bad person. I do not believe he would have been abusive had we been communicating face to face. For many these boards don't count (I believe for several online forums are a secret sin... a chance to hate with anonymity).


I'm just getting tired of his constant accusations (and making me a target because I'm in staff....making false claims about me banning people or getting the administration to ban people.....it gets old and it us unChristlike.

BUT I am glad to hear he is decent to other people in "real life". While I do believe God will hold us accountable for our online presence, the real world (as opposed to the digital world) is much more important.

Just post the thread if it is deleted, the post if it was just edited.

I'm all for walking together, but it is difficult to amend an unknown wrong. I was thinking @SGO was treating me as he was because of something else entirely. I'm all for reconciliation. But until I was informed he was continually talking about me I had not read any of his recent posts....so I have no clue what he is talking about.

If a member has an issue with their post being edited or deleted, the best way is to use the report feature. Second best is pm an administrator.

This will not only help you understand the reasoning, but also it can prevent false accusations.

No. Dorkish meme post deleted for quoting deleted post. And members can select what of their status is shown publicly.

Now that I realize what happened I understand the situation.

@SGO made a mistake. But had I been in his shoes I would have probably had the same ill feelings towards me. Knowing myself, I may have made very similar comments.

Had I read his posts I could have addressed the error sooner and cut it off before the assumption turned into accusation. But I was unaware....and to be fair my reaction would have depended on when I saw the posts. I try not to be hot headed....but I'm of Irish descent and a ginger ...fitting the stereotype.

Sometimes it is easy to get wires crossed with online forums. These types of communication demands much more grace and benefits of the doubt than face to face interaction - unfortunately much less is typically extended (myself included).

@SGO made an error....a false conclusion...which led him to interact with me in a certain manner. But knowing how this occurred I can at least understand how he arrived at his conclusions.

If that is the group you are referring to, then do you believe that most of the people in that group are telling a clearly living nurse that she is actually dead, like in that last article? Or is that perhaps some fringe people with marbles loose?

They (the "pro-vovid-vax-everybody-by-force" and the "anti-covid-vax-pull-vaccines" are fringe groups and have more than a few loose marbles.

In the article the people refer to the nurse as dead because she took the vaccine (they are convinced those who are vaccinated will be dead in 5 years). We have at least one of these on the board (I remember a thread making that claim).

I do not mean people who believe the vaccine is good or who believe it is bad. I mean those who wage a campaign that covid is a hoax or try to stop others from being vaccinated should they so choose.

Granted, these are very small bags of nuts. I was just saying they do exist (on a previous thread a member stated there was no such groups).

I'm a bit guarded about pm's. Somebody might tell me the earth is round and challenge my grasp of reality .

I just wanted to let you know I figured it out. Took me a minute....not as quick as I used to be.

But I get why you thought I was abusing my position as a moderator. If I were in your place I may have come to the same conclusion....knowing me even a bit less charitable.
