Are you saying God has a beginning and end?
huh? no I'm saying that when we come across a word ' beginning ' we ask what beginning? the beginning of creation? the beginning of the Gospel ? the beginning of Paul's ministry? the beginning of lunch break ? ...why do believe 2 thes 2.13 is not the beginning when Paul first met those in thes and shared the gospel with them. And we know from other places ' salvation ' is also used in a future sense . Saved as in nearer to our salvation than when we first believed.

Jesus says believers have eternal life. No beginning or end.

“For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved [have eternal life] it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18 (KJV 1900)

Yes the preaching of the Gosepl is foolishness to those who are as yet not saved . But when they get saved it wont be .

So why does the word not produce faith in them? If it did, they would be saved. Free will makes them the savior, not God.
Because it pleases God to save those that believe. That's Gods sovereign choice to save those by belief. God has every right to choose to do this . Who are you to argue oh man ?

Its not about the philosophy of free will and determinism . who cares about that ? what we want is what God said he has done freely .
