“And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.” Acts 16:14 (NCPB)
Just highlight the bit just before the bit you highlighted then you will see it
"Which WORSHIPPED God" . A sheep . And it says nothing about the Gospel . Don't make isolated incidents into doctrines .

So if she had died before Paul had got to her would she be in hell? Even though clearly she is following Yahweh ? Were all followers of God in the Old testament hellbound as well ?
Do you not think God knows whom He is going to save and the one's who will resist the sancification of God's Spirit? Bear in mind none of us deserve the gift of salvation God has given us and the promise, 2 Peter 3:9, ". . . The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. . . ."

Is His knowledge causative?

Is God the author of sin? God's knowledge is not excusively causative. But it was God's knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3:22) which Adam and Eve obtained by which the whole world, that is, all of mankind has a sinful nature.
God always being the infinite good. God created man good, but man was only finite in the goodness as God created him good.
One must understand infinite good cannot be affected by any amount of evil. Where as finite good which can be negated makes evil possible and so is subject to evil.

All born-again Jews went to heaven. But the Gospel saves us from the pitfalls of life.

It tells me you can't be trusted.
Come on ' Calvinism ' ....Christian ......' Calvinist. it really is as simple as that. We do not need 'Arminism , Calvinism or any other ism . The moment you start following something with a man in the title ( Apart from Jesus) you should know its false.

Saves us from the pitfalls of life ? now you sound like Joel olsteen " you can have your best life now " . What do you mean ?
People must be saved before they can believe the gospel. So what does the gospel save us from if not sin and pitfalls it plunges us into?
