What a display of Scriptural ignorance, & carnal thinking. We need spiritual understanding, for God has given us new birth. We are no longer Jew nor Gentile, we become born again of the Holy Spirit children of God.

John 1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not. 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 13 which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Phil. 3:Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe. 2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision. 3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

These quotes show serious misunderstand of Scripture.
No, I already told you that maybe you are talking about the next world because I am still a free male Greek. You are saying that I am now a Jew and I am asking, and you are ignoring, am I still a free male? I am still a gentile because I am not Abraham's seed.

You keep repeating that and I keep telling you that I am not Abraham's seed and I am still a free male. So I don't know what your point is.

Jews are by physical birth....I cannot be a Jew, nether casn they be a Gentile!

I forget if you are supersessionist or not? Did they get a gender swap, too?

They will not become Gentiles though, correct? We gentiles do not change into jews?

I vaguely remember there was a belief held by some that we get "Jewish blood" in our veins once saved!

Well, we know that you are a supersessionist, don't we? But this thread is not about supersessionism, is it? It is about Jacob's trouble, huh? Do you think that you will go through the Great Tribulation, or are you following your John Nelson Darby?

I don't know what you know - you never make it clear using Scripture.

Jacob's trouble (Jeremiah 30) was the scenario recorded in the book of Esther.

The GT Jesus prophesied (Mat. 24) was leading up to the AD 70 destruction.

I haven't got a JND to follow.

The Great tribulation was to be immediately followed by the Second Coming event, and when did that happen again?

Jesus was a Jew, Paul was a Jew & so where most of the apostles.
This is true. But they all received circumcision before Jesus abolished it on the cross. From that point on, nothing remained to make one a physical member of Israel. And physical Israel was on its way out, culminating in AD70. All physical Jews today are technically gentiles that sport Jewish beliefs and customs.

They are getting it from Christian dispensationalists.

The evening I came to faith in June 1979, it was one of the first things I 'learned.' The "counselor" gave me a Jack Chick tract called "Kings of the East" that explicitly states that "2/3 of all Jews are killed..." with the Zechariah 13:8 reference. You can see it yourself here (look at PDF page 14). The tract was eventually pulled from publication for its many faults, but it ties in nicely with the Left Behind chronology, as well as most other similar interpretations.

I grew up with this stuff.

I was sucked into the Hal Lindsey craze because it comported with the atmosphere I grew up in. My infatuation lasted until I came across a passage (I can't remember what it was now) where I knew was twisting scriptures to fit his own interpretation. To this day I reject "teachers" who attempt to fit their eschatology to the headlines and those who have tidy little systems for dealing with the prophetic and apocalyptic writings in the Bible.

I think that Dispensationalism has problems left from John Nelson Darby, but most of it is not even controversial but prosiac. John Hagee justifies his supersessionism by teaching that Jesus never claimed to be Christ. The SBC does not teach supersessionism, and I myself agree with every word of the Baptist Faith and Message.

This is the age of hate and kindness is a dead language in American life so it is dangerous to disagree with even professing Christians over theological issues. As Professor Bloom wrote, the American mind is closed.
