But suffering can be good for the believer. It causes us to grow. One of the greatest Christians I have ever known had a debilitating and painful condition, but she was always joyful and always telling folks about her Lord and Savior Jesus. I am going to attach a short biography of her that I wrote, including her personal tract, "Handicapped and Happy."I find it far easier to trust God with my own life (Whether I live or die, I belong to Christ, so I win either way) than with the suffering of someone that I love. God has a track record of not being shy about permitting His people to suffer ... often a LOT.
