Explain how God calls us sons in the present tense. (This also calls into question those who claim the adoption as sons is future tense.)

Hebrews 12:5-7
And have you forgotten the exhortation that addresses you as sons? “My son, do not regard lightly the discipline of the Lord, nor be weary when reproved by him. For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives.” It is for discipline that you have to endure. God is treating you as sons. For what son is there whom his father does not discipline?

I did not say we are not sons of God, for I believe we are begotten sons.

beloved, now, children of God are we, (We who have the Spirit of Adoption, the first-fruit of the Spirit) and it was not yet manifested what we shall be, and we have known that if he may be manifested, like him we shall be, because we shall see him as he is; and every one who is having this hope on him, doth purify himself, even as he is pure. 1 John 3:2,3 YLT
for ye did not receive a spirit of bondage again for fear, but ye did receive a spirit of adoption in which we cry, 'Abba -- Father.' The Spirit himself doth testify with our spirit, that we are children of God; and if children, also heirs, heirs, indeed, of God, and heirs together of Christ -- if, indeed, we suffer together, that we may also be glorified together. Rom 8:15-17 YLT
for the earnest looking out of the creation doth expect the revelation of the sons of God; Rom 8:19 YLT
but those accounted worthy to obtain that age, and the rising again that is out of the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage; for neither are they able to die any more -- for they are like messengers -- and they are sons of God, being sons of the rising again. Luke 20:35,36 YLT

When will the heirs, indeed, become the inheritors, indeed?

And this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood the reign of God is not able to inherit, nor doth the corruption inherit the incorruption; lo, I tell you a secret; we indeed shall not all sleep, and we all shall be changed;1 Cor 15:50,51 YLT

When they are not able to die anymore.

'And whenever the Son of Man may come in his glory, and all the holy messengers with him, then he shall sit upon a throne of his glory; and gathered together before him shall be all the nations, and he shall separate them from one another, as the shepherd doth separate the sheep from the goats, and he shall set the sheep indeed on his right hand, and the goats on the left. 'Then shall the king say to those on his right hand, Come ye, the blessed of my Father, inherit the reign that hath been prepared for you from the foundation of the world; Matt 25:31-34 YLT

And Jesus said to them, 'Verily I say to you, that ye who, did follow me in the regeneration, when the Son of Man may sit upon a throne of his glory, shall sit -- ye also -- upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel; Matt 19:28

And if we died with Christ, we believe that we also shall live with him, Rom 6:8 YLT - Follow him in regeneration?

It’s not even worth looking up man. Elect means redeemed. Foreknowledge means preplanned. God preplanned for the redeemed to be saved and used election to determine who would be with Christ in glory.

The facts are that 99.99% of the human race are not going to be saved.

Joy unspeakable full of glory
Of course I don't believe that's true .
And what does that information you believe do ?

Where do you get this opinion. Provide the verses and the explanation of those verses to show your reasoning.

I'm giving you a chance to clearly prove your thoughts. Please share.
You have no authority here you're just a member like me. You have not proven that all the elect are saved with scripture. Just your interpretation and all that is your opinion.

We became the heirs when the law stopped being our schoolmaster.

Galatians 4:1-7 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no different from a slave, though he is the owner of everything, but he is under guardians and managers until the date set by his father. In the same way we also, when we were children, were enslaved to the elementary principles of the world. But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.

I suggested this:
Where do you get this opinion. Provide the verses and the explanation of those verses to show your reasoning.

Your response indicates you cannot do so. Therefore, I consider your assertion illegitimate and void of any substance. Carry on with your empty words.

Oh I see you want me to prove you right. Not to mention empty describes every thing you say. You have no proof of what you say because it doesn't exist. Yet you think I have scripture that says it doesn't. How does one prove the nonexistant theories of your Calvinism. They cannot be proved or disproved because they do not exist except in your own imagination. LOL!

Romans 8:31-39.
Romans 9.
Romans 11.
Ephesians 1:1-14.
Ephesians 2:1-10.
1 Peter 1:1-5.
None of these verses say all the elect are saved. Not one verse. You believe in your opinion not what scripture actually says. It's your interpretation you believe. Your own theories.

Nope, I want you to show how you come to your opinion, from scripture and then share how your scripture references support your assertions. This is not too much to ask.

It may be really simple.
However 2 Thessalonians 2:13, which you claim "indicates the Thessalonians were chosen for salvation", is the only SCRIPTURE that you have chosen to offer. Therefore the rest of your "really simple" opinions are based on an appeal to the opinions of Dr. Dan Wallace. Repeating an opinion is not the same as offering scripture that supports your opinion.

That may be sufficient for you, but I went looking to see what GOD has to say in His Bible. So thank you for sharing your opinions, but I am searching for God's opinion and not man's opinion.
Scripture cannot be broken, so 2 Thessalonians 2:13 proves God makes choices for His purpose. Full Stop

How about Ephesians 1:4, where God chose us in Him so that we would be holy and blameless.

Here a Calvinist is making an absurd claim, that God might make choices without a purpose. What a waste.

I want to make a completely different "absurd" claim ... that God's "elect/chosen" are always chosen for salvation and service, and God chooses for no other reason. That is why I want SCRIPTURE rather than unsupported OPINIONS. Even if an opinion is correct, only Scripture backed opinions can help me prove or disprove who GOD SAYS His elect/chosen are.

I am starting with an examination of the claim made by others that "God's elect" are ALWAYS the nation of Israel (saved and unsaved) and never "gentiles". The OP lists all of the verses containing the Hebrew word that means "chosen/elect" so I can start looking at who SCRIPTURE says the chosen are. So far God has not called anyone His chosen that does not have a heart that belongs to God, but I have more verses to examine in detail.

I do intend to get on to the NT "chosen/elect" after I have settled who the OT "chosen/elect" are and whether the "chosen" are ever "unsaved". Clearly God uses the unsaved, but God never called Pharaoh "God's chosen".

False, you have not answered this. If so, show the exact link to that answer.
What are you lazy? Go back to the first post and read them all until you get the answer I'll not do it for you it's there all you have to do is read and understand what you read.
