in addition;

What things in heaven can be reconciled by the cross?

Col 1:20

And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

I believe like you , just ol' Baptist, raised at feet of Gamaliel type. more independent but SBC influence as well. I hold your college in high regard, so I guess, I am now an Baptist+

This pre existance is obvious to me, To consider this , provide answers many questions that we have been taught to ignore. Like this one.

No. God sent Christ to redeem us (Romans 3:24; Ephesians 1:7 etc., etc.).
yes, By one death all could be saved because we share in the flesh and blood with Jesus. We as individually unique creations that had no brotherhood , no kinship could not be saved by one death. unless given bodies and kindred relationship

Sin came into the physical world through Adam. It was already here as sinful spiritual beings were here first.
We were there with him, sinned with him and were condemned with him at that point in time.

The sins of the fathers in Ezekiel 18:20 refers to the breaking of the mosaic law not the adamic guilt which we all receive.

Was breaking the Mosaic law not sin?

"If thou be wise, thou shalt be wise for thyself: but if thou scornest, thou alone shalt bear it."—Proverbs 9:12

"The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: Every man shall be put to death for his own sin."—Deuteronomy 24:16

Adamic guilt is a trick of the devil to not blame yourself

I'm sorry, but you and I most definitely do not believe the same in this area.

I appreciate your support. The position you are presenting in this thread will be one that will never be taught at this college; at least not as long as I have control over the academics.

It is not obvious to me, nor do I believe it to be based at all in Scripture.

I know, but I believe this is totally scriputural, but that leaves you with questions that attack God's charactor.

so you have to believe God made man just to send some to hell
you have to believe God is a respector of persons... having favorites. etc.

What about those who have not heard of Jesus?

ultimately , the devil attacks the authority and sovereignity of God to send otherts to eternal punishment through the humanism that equates flesh and spirit. He minimizes the condemnation and places guilt on another. Undue and misrepresentation of the humanity

@loDebar Please just explain your position on the matter.

You are the bad guy in this narrative ,, you sinned and were condemned ,spiritually dead. Instead of being destroyed , God created this place for us in darkness. You were sent here. In God's time and pleasure He provided mankind, a body for us. He chose a people and time and place to come and be one of us, a spiritual being in a body. He paid for our sins and we share in His death. we are spirituall and physical . We are saved by God bearing our sins and We share in His death by being related.. We , as spiritually redeemed or born again and return to God.
We are spiritual beings in earthly vessels, for a while.

Ok, thanks for answering.

Question:

A. Where did you get this type of intel?

B. Where were we before we received our bodies?

C. Where were we before we were in darkness?

The biggest falacy of inherited sin, is to let us blames Adam anf therefore God for OUR sin. Why did God place me as a human in a sinful state?(My ancestors) I have not heard of Jesus and going straight to hell.Did God make me in order to save me?

This is the result of current Baptidst Teaching

Well, God saves all who he wills to get saved, right? God is in control over where all of us were born, right?
And who are we to try to say that whatever happens, that we did not get what we really deserved, if found in Hell?

God saves all that call on Him to be saved.

There are no Baptists that i know of that blame Adam for the sin we commit and are responsible for.
