No, not ignorant but instead Biblical. It seems you judge RD for his daughter yet you are in the same place as he is - both of you with children who are not walking with the Lord. Doesn't matter that his daughter is a lesbian and your son is a "contributing member of society" because bottom line, there is one thing that matters. Where do they stand in front of the cross of Christ - saved or unsaved. If unsaved, I would certainly hope it would happen despite our constant prayers and our putting them on the alter of Christ. That it would happen despite our teaching and our love for them. But honestly to post on a board with an attitude that seems like it's "no big deal" if they are saved or night is frightening to me.

NO I'M NOT IN THE SAME PLACE RD IS...see your ignorance right there...lol

He is estranged from his daughter by choice because of legalism...I have a wonderful relationship with my son and his wife because of GRACE...I'm happy RD is not. I trust my God who took care of me to do the same for my boy.

Why Church Kids Rebel (Part 2)

Over the past couple of weeks it seems many of my conversations have been about “church kids.” You know the type… · They’re in Sunday school every week and always have the right answers · They participate in AWANA or some other type of bible club · They sing in the children’s choir · ... Continue

I JUST HAD A THOUGHT

GOD HAS REVEALED TO ME A MESSAGE THAT NEEDS TO BE HEARD.
That is one of LOVE, BALANCE and TRUTH (God is truth)...If we as a people can grasp these elements and practice them in our own lives, think of the ripple effects into our homes, our relationships, workplace, towns, and ultimately our society?...I know wishful thinking....:)

See, you just don't see. You ARE in the same place as RD. You choose to ignore the fact that your child is unsaved and just let them be. RD has chosen to speak the truth to his daughter and his daughter has chosen her sin over God and so RD has had to do what the Scriptures say and walk away. You instead choose to not speak the truth to your son and allow him to feel that no matter what, it's OK. He's fine in his unsaved state.

I'm sorry that there is nothing more I can say to you. One day we will all have to stand before God and answer to Him as to what we did with the Gospel and those in our lives.

OLDTIMER I POSTED THE SAME THING (the whole thing) A PAGE OR SO BACK

Thanks for it again though...:)

Read it again, please. I asked you a question. More than once, as a matter of fact. Are the works in question yours or did you copy someone else and fail to honor their copyright specifications?

That you rejoice in RDude's heartache is revealing of your character and lack of Christian charity. Most who have been here long enough know that it is a heavy burden that he carries for his daughter that troubles him greatly.

I believe that there was a missing comma. I'm hoping that is the case.

Homosexuals should be treated just like any other sinner. But their particular sin is certainly more grievous and dangerous as it has far more damaging results. Add to that the political campaign it has and the agenda to make it acceptable is equally as dangerous.

When you see that kind of campaign to get heterosexual adultery to be taught in our schools to our children and the move to make it illegal to preach and teach against then you will see an equal stance against it in that regard.

I spoke the truth...I wasn't the one who became hostile RD did...now his gang is trying to protect him...even Jesus called the Pharisees VIPERS and HYPOCRITES and so much more...where was Jesus's LOVE...it was in TRUTH!

I have asked you more than once HOW DO YOU GO ABOUT THAT? Please "enlighten" me...bet you can't without sounding ignorant.

No just saying he and his wife might have been a HUGE contributing factor in how she turned out...read the article and what it says about kids in legalistic homes...also he CHOOSES TO BE SAD I choose to be happy....huge difference.
