I also like Tim Scott. He graduated from Charleston Southern (where my son is going....studying youth ministry....next Friday).
I like Tim. Before his political days, we had a few too many together in a Bar in Myrtle beach.

I am honestly at a loss as to what the whole truth is. A guy that works for me has a sister who is an ICU nurse in a hospital south of Augusta Ga. She had been hounding him about getting vaccinated. He told me this morning that over the weekend she told him it does not really matter, they have as many vaccinated in ICU as unvaccinated.
Personally, I think antibodies are antibodies and while they may help they are no guarantee.

I have a friend in his early 90's who had covid and recovered just fine. I know others in their 40's who died.

Its kind of like my Doctor told me once, (the pro vax Doc) "As long as we have been PRACTICING medicine, you would think we would be a lot better than we are."

We are from different worlds though only hour and a half away. If not for the news, I would not know Covid existed.

I have not kept up with his latest on the topic, but Rand Paul a few weeks ago was citing studies and peer reviewed papers showing that antibodies were far superior to the vax. Unless they changed in last couple weeks, EU considers positive antibody test as vaxed. The U.S. seems to be different. It's like a mindless vaxx campaign. If antibodies are effective against Delta in the EU, me thinks they just as effective in Georgia.
In good ole USA, our health people are not telling the truth. I don't know if the truth complicates things too much or it's for other reasons. They saying people who had Covid got it again so antibodies must not work. They not saying if the people actually had antibodies. I would like to know. Having Covid may or may not give you antibodies. Having Covid does not mean you have antibodies. A positive antibody test is the only way to determine that.

In the UK and Isra it’s the vaxed that are largely getting covid but only in the US is it the opposite

At the same time there are peer reviewed articles and studies stating the vacvine provides superior immunity than natural immunity (for example, look up the studies and eer reviewed articles at John Hopkins and the University of Maryland).

Also, the vaccine does produce antibodies (as does covid). The question is whether these are detectable in a test. With covid it depends on several factors (to include the type of test and amount of antibodies). Different serology tests detect antibodies to different parts of the virus. Some tests detect antibodies to the spike protein of the virus. Others detect antibodies to the nucleocapsid protein, which are produced in response to infection, but not by the current vaccines.

In other words, if the EU is using the antibody test we typically use, then they will not detect antibodies due to vaccination because they would be looking at nucleocapsid protein.

We also have to mention the elephant in the room. Much of the EU are using different vaccines.

I have heard that too, but I recently found out all my news sources are fake.
The rate in the UK did spike, however most are vaccinated so it stands to reason most who get covid will be vaccinated.

However the UK has recently had a significant drop in covid cases while it is rising in the US. The spike, if nothing changes, was very short lived.

They are contributing this to the fact 88% of adults are vaccinated (almost twice as the US).

As of last month the UK put out that 58% of covid deaths were unvaccinated, 36% partially vaccinated, and 8% were fully vaccinated.

That said, pro-vax liars put out that 100% were unvacvinated while the anti-vax liars put out that most were vaccinated.

Here is a list of the real fact sheets (including the side-effects ...which can be very serious), the trials, and ingredients.

This is what the anti-vax people do not want you to see - not because it is pro-vax (they list really bad possible side effects and cautions with the vaccine) but because it exposes their conspiracies.

IF you want real information then it is here. Read it and make a decision on your own health.

My advice is to weigh the risks of covid against the risks of the vaccine and the benefits of the vaccine (which are largely unknown at this time). Keep in mind these are not FDA approved.

Be informed. Stay away from the conspiracy theorists on the BB (they only care about politicizing the virus, not about facts). Don't rely on pro-vax or anti-vax fools. They are evil.

Read the facts yourself and make an informed decision. Regardless of what you decide, and the outcome of that decision, it is the best you can do for your health given accurate information.

God is in control, but we are not called to be fools.

I don't know. I don't do any of those and am not in the pro-vax camp.

Trump and Biden are both pro-vax (trying to out do each other), but that is not what I meant by political issue.
I do know. I look at mainstream news now and then. They are like the little echoes of hell. The bias is not hidden.
