Think about the early Christians who were slaughtered for sport in the Roman circus theaters, fed to lions, crucified, pulled apart, chopped up and they died singing.

Then later the religious church folk took their turn in the Crusades, the Roman and Spanish Inquisitions, the slaughter of the Huguenots, the Waldensians, Saint Bartholomew Day massacre, etc... ad nauseum.

A horror show beyond belief. We have it easy (so far).

Really! This country is a Sovereign nation yet it does not control every thing. Sovereign is not in scripture because God is all powerful which means He does what He wishes to do dispite what men think do or say.

The Calvinist says Nothing happens in God's universe that he did not cause. Making God into a puppeteer.

What do you mean by "in control?" Do you mean He allows some things that He does not approve of but allows it to teach us, or do you mean there are some things He just can't control?

There is nothing God cannot do including allowing men to choose Him also.

God does not make man sin. But God does allow you to CHOOSE to sin.

He also allows us to choose Him. God can do as He wishes.

Apparently He can't, at least according to your theology.

God wants (wishes) all people to be saved. But all people don't get saved. So, according to your theology, He can't seem to bring it off, He can't do as He wishes. His wishes are overruled by man's wishes.
