Quote Calvin when it fits your theology, but ignore him on John 3:16!!!

Deal with the actual words of the Bible, "And in the same way was not also Rahab the prostitute justified by works when she received the messengers and sent them out by another way?" THIS is what the Word of God SAYS! Now prove this to be wrong?
She proved her faith by her good works!

James 2:10, "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."
Galatians 2:21, ". . . for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
Romans 3:19, "Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God."
Romans 6:14, ". . . For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. . . ."
And there are more references and contexts.
What is the difficulty you think you see?

You've actually pitted more scripture against scripture. You've harmonized or answered nothing.

show ONE Bible verse that says faith ALONE!
Where does the Bible declare we are saved by our works?

If it is not entirely of God, it is either entirely of men or it is man and God combining to save.

Since you reject God's saving work through faith alone, you must advocate for one of the two other options. This makes your name on the BB a false statement. You do not advocate saved by grace. Instead, you either advocate salvation by man's work alone or salvation by human cooperation with God in salvation. In both options grace is no longer an option.

God always saved by Grace alone thru faith alone!
If He saves through both where do you get the alone idea. It takes the Lord first of all. It takes faith and trust. It also takes the gospel and Love if I sat hear and thought about it, I could come with a lot more. being saved by any thing alone is just plain ignorant of Gods word.

In Mark 1.15 Jesus says REPENT and BELIEVE in the Gospel. Not just BELIEVE

Seems that some here do indeed hold to a more catholic version of salvation, faith and good works!
