don't need it to say alone to mean alone.
James 2:24, "You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone"

Answer my question, what do you see as the difficulty? I do not see any problem between being justified without works. And those who are already justified without works also being justified by works, Ephesians 2:8-10.You've actually pitted more scripture against scripture. You've harmonized or answered nothing.
you're mixing catagories.
what do you see as the difficulty?
Judas the son of Israel. So Hebrew = Jew, eh?
Let me ask you this then: 1) why was Abram called a Hebrew? 2) Who was the first Jew?
Not in the KJV.ONE verse that says ALONE!!!

looking for that God-breathed VERSE???
Prove salvation is not really a gift and faith alone without works is false in order to be saved. If you don't hold to the unscriptural notion of justification by faith alone there is no difficulty.
what do you see as the difficulty?
Try 2 Timothy 3:16 "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"
What is your view of scripture then if you do not believe it is God breathed??

No because both statements are true. Your difficulty seems to be not believing that no one is ever been justified by verse 13 except Jesus. So, what do you think? Was Paul going senile?:
13 …the doers of the law shall be justified...Ro 2
20 ...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified... Ro 3
Wow. Explaining again is not going to cause you to hear what you do not accept.as usual you don't know what you are on about!
The mistake would have to be in a CT interpreted bible.like esvKJVO!

Yes, they add merit and law to salvation as synergists.Seems that some here do indeed hold to a more catholic version of salvation, faith and good works!
