How can you believe we are justified by the blood of Jesus “100%”, and still argue we are justified by our works? At most, you must believe the blood of Jesus justifies 99%, and our works do the rest.

peace to you
How cam we be saved and deny Pauline Justification?

Do you grasp the fact that it is totally, 100%, God doing the work?

Yes. Your fellow Reformed robots consider me 'hyper' in this area. I've stated this numerous times but you're too busy squawking about Council Of Trent! Roman Catholic! instead of hashing it out.

No one earns eternal life according to one's works. Romans 6:23.

Not one word did I say anything about 'earning' eternal life. Eternal life is a free gift. In fact, all those believing already are in possession of it:

He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life;......Jn 3:36

.....He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life,...Jn5:24

... He that believeth hath eternal life. Jn 6:47

It's regeneration first, then belief.

Faith alone in the finished work and person of Lord Jesus saves!

....and the bird of yesh does another flyover and drops another splat on another thread with no scripture, again.

You know what? I'm going to ignore every post of yours from here on out that doesn't at least contain a scripture reference. You're wearisome.

Here is a place where we part in our understand of God's grace which indeed came before faith. I hold, first the hearing of the gospel truth, the Spirit's sanctification, a changed mind from God's word, one's faith in God's given truth, and then God regenerates the believer.

While you're at it harmonize these:

13 …the doers of the law shall be justified...Ro 2

20 ...by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified... Ro 3

How do you harmonize the verses?

peace to you

Glory hallelujah! Someone finally takes an interest! Thanks.

13 for not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified:
14 (for when Gentiles that have not the law do by nature the things of the law, these, not having the law, are the law unto themselves;
15 in that they show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness therewith, and their thoughts one with another accusing or else excusing them); Ro 2

...on second thought, I I think I'll start a new thread. I'll be back.

Romans 11:6

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work
Amen! Scripture goes clearly against your teaching of justification by works.

Indeed, it is a glaring contradiction.

Kentucky... You forgot one... Brother Glen:)

Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

13:47 For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.

13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.

You have confused yourself and tripped over justification so as to promote Roman Catholic doctrine and deny Reformed doctrine.

AustinC: <squawk> Roman Catholic <squawk> Council of Trent

RCC holds to 'birth from above' BEFORE belief?

Contextually it is in the middle voice. Which means that by the Gentiles accepting the Gospel which the Jews rejected, they were enrolled to eternal life

I was speaking of Pauline Justification theology, you know, the stuff that caused the reformation?
Is that what they call it. You have to understand I'm not a reformer By the way there is no such thing as Pauline justification.. Reformers always using words that don't apply to anything
