Like all revolutionaries he stopped short of - what happens when the have-nots revolt and become the haves?

Actually, nothing - the system is rebooted and the process starts over.

I don't have time for Lindsey; he's up there with LaHaye, Camping and assorted mixed nuts. I'm not sure what relevance his age has to it; as Covenanter has said, those who were getting all excited about the events of 1948 ain't been reading things right...

OK!... I will admit it... I read Hal... The Late Great Planet Earth Lindsey way back in the day... Then I put his book where it belonged... In the TRASH!... LaHaye... You couldn't pay me to read that GARBAGE!... Now Camping, what nut job he was... Not to mention the others that have happened in my lifetime... There was the Waco wacko... David Koresh, The Moonies, Jim Jones and the koolaide brigade, Applewhite and Hale Bopp and who can ever forget Jim and Tammy and PTL... And the beat goes on... Any want to add to my list feel free... All in the name of religion?... So Modern Israel is 70?... Really haven't had time to think about it much!... Brother Glen:)

But that's ok because "that was Then, this is now"?
You said you were going to use my statement when you contemplated the sin of adultery so I gave you a scripture in replacement to contemplate when you have your sin problem.

David had a similar problem so he hid God's word in his heart.

So do I, so should you.

That is always OK when you face temptation.

The believers in the book of Acts were to go and evangelize the world with the gospel of grace at that time since the word of God had not been completed telling of the blood sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Protecting my family, my church, my country is not a sin.
If someone comes to my house to kill, rape, maim, he/she will be met with violence in return.
If they intend on doing evil then they will not receive grace from me but an eye for an eye, bullet for bullet.
They will also have to contend with my dogs.

I was using the adultery scenario to challenge your "That was then, this is now" 'defence'. You still haven't answered that point, merely restated your position.

Did you put Scofield in the trash, too--just asking for a friend--please don't burn me at the stake as the UK wants to.

I did!

when you are challenged to contemplate adultery do not use the phrase THAT WAS THEN THIS IS NOW meditate on the word of God not my words!

So why is it ok for you to say, "That was then, this is now?"

I already explained it,

Once He ascended, the LORD communicated with the apostles and disciples in a different manner like causing them trouble to get them out of Jerusalem and go where He had told them to go.

You and I now have the complete revelation including the two passages I stated way back when in support of defending our love ones.

I have a KJV which I read and study from... Also a Thompson Chain Reference KJV but I never had a Scofield... Something special about a Scofield I need to know?... If the UK decides they want to burn you at the stake, I have a friend who is a fireman I can call, who can hose you down!... Brother Glen:D

Sorry, still sounds like special pleading to me: "The Bible...and Why It Doesn't Apply To Me", and all that.

Yeah, standby on that call. Theology ain't beanbag. My friend is just wondering if you are a dispensationalist--I am a modified one. Increase Mather seems to be the major American influence on the restoration of Israel. However, Calvin may be behind the Puritans. Do you know how Calvin stands on this question? I am not smart enough to read Calvin. I am just a layman so I have to depend on intellectuals at my own risk.

Now we see the Israelis adopting an aggressive "shoot to kill or maim policy" against unarmed protesters, some of whom throw stones from such a distance that no IDF have suffered. It's a bloodthirsty massacre.

Read what Haaretz has to say -
Analysis
It's Not a 'Hamas March' in Gaza. It's Tens of Thousands Willing to Die

The Israeli army's characterization of the demonstrations diminishes their gravity, but also unwittingly cast Hamas as a responsible, sophisticated political organization.

In no way are the Zionist Israelis the people of God. Our countries' support of them is itself evil. How "evangelicals" can support the modern Israel as if Bible prophecy were being fulfilled is totally repugnant.

When Jesus was asked "who is my neighbour?" he told the parable of the good Samaritan/Palestinian.

Ezekiel prophesied -
47:21 “Thus you shall divide this land among yourselves according to the tribes of Israel. 22 It shall be that you will divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who dwell among you and who bear children among you. They shall be to you as native-born among the children of Israel; they shall have an inheritance with you among the tribes of Israel. 23 And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger dwells, there you shall give him his inheritance,” says the Lord God.

It is becoming increasingly evident that "Christian Zionism" is a serious heresy that violates the Word of God, both Old & New Covenant Scriptures.
