Not that, but there was no one to accuse me of such a thing. Also, I've never done that.

And there was never anyone to accuse Judge Kavanaugh of that either during the last 20 years or so of his public service to the nation - until the last minute before the Senate Judiciary Committee was to vote on his nomination to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Tell me, do you really believe the good Judge was part of a "rape ring" as he has also been accused of?
I don't know. I know of such things happening back in the day.

I need to point out that I haven't watched the testimony in full, only small bits of it and some reporting. I have been quite busy at work today.

Yes, when you get to a high profile position where you will be shaping the laws for the next couple of generations of Americans, people get more motivated to intervene if they have been abused.

Oh good grief! We might as well say that he was also roasting little babies in ovens and eating them for heavens sake. At some point the things that the Dems and their supporters are saying are really nothing but incredulous and beyond the pale accusations.

How anyone could ever pull the lever for any of them is beyond my comprehension. (And I am not talking about Democrats from yesteryear like Harry Truman, JFK, and even Hubert Humphrey - men who loved their country and the constitution that governs it).

Or in other words, the accusations are nothing but politically motivated machinations.

Graham is a totally different person than he was before McCain's death. He was a pit bull in these hearings today.

Durbin and them might want to FBI to investigate, but c'mon, this guy has undergone several background checks and none of them picked this up. They were trying to stall some more, but the gig's up - committee vote tomorrow, floor vote Saturday or Monday. He'll be sworn in within a week.

Yes, and the only justices your democrat buddies attack are the ones who they know are staunchly pro life and do not adhere to "settled law."

Yeah, he said he was "McCain's wing man." Maybe he will do better now that the chief RINO is dead.

On a job interview do they ask you how much alcohol you drank in high school and college? Do they ask you if you've ever ground your genitals against a woman against her will? They ask if you've drunk so much you've passed out?

No... that’s character assignation.

Just something to think about:

More than 100 seemingly credible people vouched for Larry Nassar (the Olympic team doctor) before it all came out that he had molested at least 265 girls and women. For a long time, victims told their stories and were shamed, silenced and discredited. Don't rush to judgment either way. There still needs to be an unbiased investigation before a vote.
There has been. The judiciary committee investigated it. The Senate is the body The COTUS charges with the process. Show me in COTUS where FBI investigation is mentioned.

Ditto!! Just told my wife this PM that I believe that Graham was under the spell (?) of McCain, cause seems that for the past year or so that LG has become more outspokenly conservative since McCain faded into the background. Might even vote for him next go-round!!??
I was VERY impressed with his little speech today - totally different LG from a few years ago!
LG was given freedom. He was complicit with JM in a number of nefarious incidents. But he was given a choice. He gladly flipped.

Did you happen to notice his line of questioning of BK regarding military tribunals last week? That was to prove his loyalty to the nation and President.

LG was getting wobbly at JM's "funeral" when he have Huma a display of affection with words exchanged. Mad Dog M. gave him a stare down. But that was nothing like the laser beam stare of General John Kelly. It had to last at least 40 seconds or more. LG was as fidgety as could be. Mad Dog and General Kelly wanted LG to know he was under scrutiny and to stick with the home team.

When I got home from work last night, I finally had a chance to watch the hearings. Kavanaugh seemed to be less than honest about his drinking, although he may have had (possibly still have?) an alcohol problem. I found Ford quite convincing, completely credible.

I'm think that Kavanaugh may indeed not remember his behavior because of blackout drinking, but that doesn't mean it didn't happen. He also seems to lack the needed character for a judge, so I am against his nomination.

Let President Trump give us another candidate like Amy Coney Barrett, or someone like that.

By the way, Lindsey Graham's outburst seems to be a performance for Trump's base, and possibly an audition for the job of Attorney General after the election.

BB, you are certainly residing in the left field, shall we say.

Justice Kavanaugh is of the highest caliber of character to be a member of the Supreme Court. Anyone doubting that is intentionally blind to reality.

Mrs. Ford is completely transparent --in ways that she did not want the world to see. She used her fried voice to elicit sympathy.
She did not show any collaboration of facts. She appeared ditzy as well as a liar.

JK has a calendar from 1982 --a detailed one. He met girls from RC girls' schools in the area --not from Ford's private school. She was fuzzy on things that would not hold up in a real court setting. I have no doubt that she is involved with colluding with the radical left to impede or derail JK's nomination and the Trump's administration.

Yesterday Sheila Jackson Lee handed Mrs. Ford's male attorney two fat envelopes. She was trying to keep them low, so it wasn't that visible --money!

Alyssa Milano is up to no good. She is pure evil. She was filming two or so rows behind JK --and had two signs handed to her. She was going to create a disturbance, a distraction. I believe she means harm to the soon-to-be justice.

Naturally, the best place to make a payoff is in a Senate Judiciary Committee room packed with photographers and a national TV audience.

Free speech sucks, huh?

She was going to create a disturbance, a distraction.

You were wrong.

I believe she means harm to the soon-to-be justice.

There's a long line, she better get into it. Anyway, it's not like she could do anything to him.
