Regarding Romans 3:25 ...

the basis of our salvation are the will of God and the Cross of Christ, not our will nor our faith!
Once again you just post "taint so" without any comprehension of the topic. He does not know it is God's will to credit our faith as righteousness, he denies Romans 4:4-5, Romans 4:23-24.

You have no idea that under the wings of Christ we are sheltered from the wrath of God, even toward our misses while under His shelter. Christ became our means of salvation from the wrath of God toward our sins, past, present and future. Try taking your Calvinist glasses off and just reading Romans 3:24-25. But the shelter is accessible only through or on the basis of our faith being credited as righteousness by God.

So simply a child could understand it.

being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;
whom God displayed publicly as the means of salvation in His blood accessible through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed;

Do you accept that even the faith that you used was a gift from God towards you then?

Change the subject ploy on display, Calvinists deny scripture and change the subject.

you always do the song and dance shuffle, never giving a straight answer!

I have always given straight answers, its just that you and van at times never liked them!
That is flatly false. I have asked you straightforward questions time and time again and you don't answer them. You run to the hills. Evasion is your modus operandi.

That mainly happens when we discuss your pet Niv 2011 translation, as every time that I give to you sources and citations that point out some of the problems associated with it, you just go into evading!

Evasion and misrepresentation defines you Y-1. When I have asked you direct questions you always deflect. I have asked you hundreds of times to show from the text of the NIV where the passages that promote women as pastors and women as heads of households are. And you have never, and I mean never, given me anything from the text of the NIV supporting your wicked remarks. Constantly asserting false things about a Bible translation is a bad testimony for you Y-1. But you have a hard heart and will not admit that you have intentionally twisted Scripture to your own ends.

Your 'links' are inane. First of all, you don't do your own homework, thus your constant questions. If you make charges against Bible translations for instance you have to actually be familiar with the text. That's why you flip-flop when it comes to the CSB.

These are the main things about links you have given me: many times they do not even address the subject you have pressed forward --- they are irrelevant. There is no mention of your concerns. Then others directly contradict your position demonstrating that you haven't even read the content.

You need to actually put forth some work on your own instead of issuing foolish decrees.

Do you accept that some here on this very board, the Sbc itself, and some scholars have a really hard time accepting the revisions done by the Niv 12011 translators, as its not just me?

There you go in classic deflection mode. Read my post # 71 prayerfully and follow through.

The subject in Romans 3:25 and how to render it with simplicity and clarity. The above is the answer, with no deflection or denial.

Weare elected by God basedupon his own good will and pleasure, nothing to do with our faith in Jesus, as election causes that faith to be given unto us, correct?

Utter falsehood with no reference to scripture. Deny and deflect using nonsense is their game. Folks, read James 2:5 or 2 Thessalonians 2:13.

So you would deny then what the scriptures plainly to each to us regarding election, faith, and salvation?

You claim scripture teaches we must sustain our salvation through works. Not even Calvinism teaches that falsehoodl

I have just stated that God elects us in Christ by His own will, that the faith to trust in Jesus is His gift to us, and that salvation is from start to finish of god, Romans 8!
Where are those works even mentioned in there?

Note that we are chosen for salvation based on faith according to scripture, James 2:5, but the Calvinist denies it.
