The spelling is hypocritical, didn't you go to school? I think if you look at what Aaron did in questioning my salvation was clearly against the rules. I felt compelled to respond.

I see if you respond then it is just that if I do then it is as you described it. And just where is this rule about questioning salvation?

It is implied in rule #3:

3. Show grace to the other posters.

If we all start going down the road on this board of questioning the salvation of fellow Christians with whom we disagree there will be no end to it and these forums would degenerate into nothing more than attacks on each other's relationship with God, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

So we have some who want grace to be shown with regards to this but do not want to show grace with regards to anything else. Thanks for clearing that up. My point has just been substantiated further.

In looking over the rules it is clear that I have clearly violated the spirit, if not the letter, of the
rules. :tear:

I apologize for the times that I have done so and pledge to try to show more Christian love toward fellow posters.

The odd thing is that Aaron would assume I am pro-abortion, I'm not. Just look at my posting concerning the best thing President Bush has done and you will see that I mentioned him signing the Partial-Birth Abortion Bill as his greatest achievement. But, of course someone like Aaron only assumes what he wants to be the facts and then goes on the attack.
I didn't say a word about you. I mentioned Democrats in general.

The interesting thing is that no one has denied that the Democrats murder babies and glorify sodomy. They're only mad because I described them as monsters.

I pretty much can't stand poor old Rush....primarily for his derision of women (which is probably not in his heart, but does come out of his mouth!), but I must say that in this case, he came out the better person.

This was a classic.

Um, how has he derided women?

Huh? Why should Senator Reid be forced to follow Limbaugh's in this matter. Is not Senator Reid's money his own to do with as he wishes?

Anyone who thinks that Limbaugh did this stunt out of purely altruistic motives is deceived.

Is not Rush's money his own to do with as he wishes? The Marine Corps Law Enforcement Fund is richer by 4.4 million dollars and you're worrying about Rush's motivation?

And so what if he gets reams of publicity about it? A fine charity is 4.4 million dollars richer for it.

You do realize that you have just called millions of your brothers and sisters in Christ monsters, don't you? :tear:

I don't think there are anything close to "millions" of born again democrats. When a person is caught by the Lord, they are new creatures, Republicans. :godisgood:

I see that you now worship at the Church of the Right-Wing Republicans!

This is pure heresy!

More personal insults. Why?

Over half your posts in this thread are an insult to some other poster.

You seem to be picking fights where there aren't any. Sometimes we all have to re-examine our behavior here. I believe it may be your turn.

As long as someone posts things like, "When a person is caught by the Lord, they are new creatures, Republicans," I will continue to point out the absurdity of such a claim.

All right, I apologize for that post. But my intent was an innocent attempt at humor, but ill conceived. I should have known better.

I appreciate the apology, but it really isn't necessary. I assumed you were using hyperbole, so I responded in kind. I thought they were both rather cute until Carpro's post. I should have just ignored Carpro's typical insult.

More often than not I have voted for the Democratic candidate, although I will vote for the candidate I think is the best, regardless of party affiliation.

It shouldn't have been hard, since I made no attempt to insult you.

OTOH you seem to be on a tear with your:

Insult to Rush: Maybe it was the Oxycontin talking!

Personal attack on 2Tim: I guess you need to learn to read better...

Personal attack on Aaron: Don't worry about it Ken, many cowards use the Internet to say things they would never say in person, just consider the source.

2nd Personal attack on 2Tim: The spelling is hypocritical, didn't you go to school?

Maybe you'll do better in some other thread.:praying:

Sorry I am so late in responding, but I have been EXTREMELY busy the past two months.

How original, If we can't argue with facts and reason lets just attack the individual.
Attack the individual? Rush Limbaugh is not only a shill for a particular faction of the GOP, he is a thrice-divorced, draft-dodging, drug-addicted hedonist. This is well documented. In addition to being a bad guy, he has been one to perpetually attack people. Now that he is trying to make a point, is it not okay to give him the same treatment he gives to others, or is his personal life off limits?
My favorite Rush statement is the one he makes in one of those commercials for LifeLock. In the add, he notes that actions speak louder than words. On that point I agree with El Rushbo..........

The judgemental hatred that is so well spoken against is just flying in this thread by those who cry about it most.
Oh, so if I understand you correctly, it is okay for Rush to attack people, but he is off limits? BTW, where did anyone use the word "hatred" to describe their feelings for Rushie? Come on, Pastor: let's stick to what people write, not your perception of their feelings for Limbaugh.

BTW, I need to thank the folks here who never served, but somehow know who is the uniformed servicemen's friend, and who is the chickenhawk. Without them, I just wouldn't know who supports the troops, and who doesn't.
Are you saying that "folks here who never served" are not capable of knowing what's best for our men and women serving? That encompasses a lot of people on either side of the aisle.

Hannity and Colmbs interviews Rush last night.
I saw that in my hotel room. What a complete joke.

I have listened to him since 92 and never heard such.
I have listened to him since '93, and I have heard this several times.

You Rush haters ought to stick to a more factual line of reasoning.
Direct challenge to you: please show us where anyone used the word "hate" to describe their feelings for Rush.

Regards to all of you - hope you and yours are well,
