It's a start.
Thank you for addressing me and Galatians 3:18-29. It seems you acknowledge that Jesus is our faith, given to us that we might believe. Some times the word "Faith" is used as a name of Jesus, but not all the time. Thus our belief in God and His Christ is the "faith" under discussion. Efforts to change the subject or obfuscate are telling us the Calvinist view is bogus. "Through faith" does not mean "not through faith" the false claim of Calvinism.
It seems you acknowledge that Jesus is our faith, given to us that we might believe.
Says no one who actually understands God's supremacy and sovereignty. We are no more than a bunch of mindless machines, like puppets, and God pulls the strings!
Here we see your assertion based not on the facts of the Bible, but on your interpretation of what the Bible is saying. The fact that time and again the Bible TELLS sinners to have faith, and to repent and believe, and that those who do will get saved, and those who don't, will be damned,
I present Galatians 3:17-29, Ephesians 2:8-9, and Hebrews 12:2 as evidence.shows that your belief that God gives us the faith to believe, is utter rubbish!
Folks, once again obfuscation wrapped in "taint so." Liberal Calvinists attempt to redefine the meaning of the Greek preposition "dia" to not include "by reason of." Utter hogwash...I do not deny we are saved through faith, Scripture states this clearly. But we are not saved by reason of faith. That is not in Scripture. That is you, once again, adding something to Scripture that is not there. We are saved by reason of the grace of God.
Yet another "taint so" post claiming the meaning of "dia" when used to show instrumentality does not include "by reason of." And these are the folks who like to question the qualifications of others. Give me a break...this is so TOTALLY unbiblical! where do you get your "theology" from, as it is certainly NOT from the 66 Books of the Holy Bible! Lets have the chapter and verse for this, "we are saved though or by reason of faith"
The unstudied views of some who deny "dia" is used to mean "by reason of" carry no weight.See @Van even non-Calvinists say this is bogus.

You cannot see that you teach salvation by legal process not by grace alone.

Ephesians 2:4-5show just ONE Scripture that says that salvation is by grace ALONE, apart from repenting of sins? This is a challenge to ALL who hold this warped, unbiblical teaching!
Utter nonsense. Liberal Calvinists try to redefine our faith in God and His Christ as being Christ Himself. This all they have, rewrite scripture to deny all the verses that say we obtained God's blessings through or by reason of our faith, as credited by God.Snip
Since Christ is identified as faith in this passage, we can then understand what "through faith" is referring to.

Ephesians 2:4-5
But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—
There you go.

Van, I have asked you, and you avoided, why does nobody translate it that way? Do you know more than they do?The unstudied views of some who deny "dia" is used to mean "by reason of" carry no weight.
So if someone only heard "If you confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised him from the dead you will be saved" and never heard anything else. Accepted that Believed that, died two seconds later, they are not saved?Salvation is by the grace of God. But this statement does not discount the need to repent. We do not expect to see the complete Gospel Message in every place

Once again Calvinists try to change the subject rather than address the fact "through" means "by reason of" in Ephesians 2:8. Folks, every time you see "through faith" in scripture realize scripture is saying Calvinism is wrong. Through faith means by reason of faith, and does not mean what Calvinism claims, "not through faith."Van, I have asked you, and you avoided, why does nobody translate it that way? Says repent and believe the Gospel. Notice it does not say anything about salvation does it? No.the answer is found in Mark 1:15, what does Jesus Himself say?
