The word chosen was added to 1Cor 1:26-31.
Col 3:12-13 The Colosians were told to put on as the elect because they were not elect. We also put on the righteousness of Christ because we are not Christ. 2Th 2:13 we are chosen for our faith.
1st Peter is about the Jews who believed.

Why were these Corinthian Jews worshiping at Pagan temples and in need of correction of all of the pagan practices that had entered the Church? (The Church at Corinth had a LOT of issues with paganism in the worship service from Paul’s Letter.)
How does Paul writing to a Christian Synagogue make him the Apostle to the Gentiles?
What evidence do you have that Corinthians was written to a Jewish audience?

I never claimed the synagogue was a Christian synagogue. Paul's custom was to preach in the synagogues. There was no church building that I know of.
As far as Paganism You must be speaking of the a member of the church sleeping with the wife of his own father.
1Co 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
This was a Jew who was doing ths. Notice that Pauls say this sin was not.so much named among the Gentiles. The whole world was into pagan practices the Jews in fact had many false gods. When people do not walk by the Spirit they tend to fall in to all kinds of sin. Paul explains the need for being Spiritually minded.


Some have some rather strange ideas of what being in the Spirit means or even how to get there. Which why I believe many Christians are so carnal. To walk in the Spirit we have to consciously set our minds on the things of the Spirit. I set my mind on the Spirit every morning first thing. Even after Salvation we are not sin proof though we need to do all we can to be.

Our churches are the same today I don't think I can name one that is sinless Satan does not give up even after we are saved. He get's his kicks by tempting Christians

To be called elect is to assume you are now a Jew. Jews are elect we are grafted in to the root. A graft does not produce the same fruit as the original branch did. Where we have become the same is in Salvation. Which is now available to the whole world

It (the term "elect") is used to mean choice, and as far as your denial, here is your quote: To be called elect is to assume you are now a Jew.

God has chosen both Jews and Gentiles. Once we were put into Christ, and made a new creation, there is no difference between us (between Jew and Gentile as we are all one in Christ.)

The church of Colossians had a significant Gentile membership, yet Paul addressed them as elect.

1) The "call" (invitation to salvation) is made by the gospel of Christ (Mark 1:15). He laid down His life as a ransom for all, so His shed blood provides the means of salvation for everyone (1 Timothy 2:6). But to receive that "reconciliation" the person must be placed spiritually into Christ, referred to as the sanctification by the Spirit. (2 Thessalonians 2:13)

2) Not everyone who is "exposed" (hears with understanding) to the gospel believes or believes fully. The Second and Third soils of Matthew 13 did not believe fully, thus God did not credit their faith as righteousness and place them into Christ.

3) Some of the fallen lose their innate ability to understand the gospel because they hardened their own hearts with the deceitfulness of sin. (Hebrews 3:13)

4) As ambassadors of Christ we are to witness, by word and example so that we cultivate, plant and nurture (water) the fallen and lost such that they might believe and be saved. (1 Corinthians 3:7 and 2 Corinthians 5:20)

Note the charge, I "made up" corporate election, individual election, faith in Christ, and on and on. Did I make up Romans 9:16 which teaches the lost seek to be saved? Nope. Did I make up the call of the gospel? Nope. Did I even make up the view that Calvinism's TULI are false doctrines? Nope. Did I make up Matthew 23:13? Nope. Did I make up Mark 1:15? Nope 1 Timothy 2:4-6? Nope

On and on Calvinists deflect because their doctrines are unbiblical, unstudied, and absurd.
