Only in an anti-calvinist mind. All who the Father gives to him come to him, is that only the disciples too? Nonsense.

Ok now you and I thought had come to an understanding but if you want to play rough im not interested.

Unfortunately you misunderstand the context here as you do in John 6. Further, saying all that the Father gives Him comes to Him does not prove your point.

Sorry, but I do not understand the reply ie point that you are trying to make? Can you please clarify
Terminology is not universal. Rev Mitch seeking Clarification does not justify questioning his status, calling, or abilities as pastor.

I'm not playing rough. Sorry if it came across that way brother! You and I DO have an understanding. I'm going to bow out of this thread for now.

Let us take time to reflect on the more important matter, what did Christ do so many years ago this night?

Me.

And I’ve had 1,000 official hours of SBC Sunday School Training.

Why do you call it the High Priestly Prayer?
I dont. I, like John Macarthur, Call it The Lords prayer. I call the other one The Model prayer. Thats why its never wrong to seek clarity before beginning discussion.

John MacArthur also refers to it as the High Priestly Prayer.

In John 17, remember in His great high priestly prayer, how He prays that He may be one with us as He is one with the Father?

By an action today, one becomes something he already was before the foundations of The Earth were laid?
No, one joins those who were pre-ordained. If everyone was already predestined no matter what, there'd be no use to worship at all.

No, the elect come to Jesus in believe, repentance, and submission. They were GIVEN to Him by the Father. Scripture is explicit on that. No man comes to God naturally.

If that were so for all the saved, there'd be no need for Bibles, preachers, or worshipping at all.

He most commonly refers to it as The Lords Prayer. In his commentary, he goes off on a long spill about why it is The true Lords prayer. It was our Lord praying, not our Lord teaching others to pray.

I am aware. Though, if you look through his messages he actually refers to them about equally. But most people know it is the High Priestly Prayer if they have ever read more than one commentary. ;)

I know it is called the High Priestly prayer. I also know that many people who never attended seminary do not know it by that name.
I like Macarthur commentary because he is a Calvinist. I can always go to it and have a known balance against what I know and what I learned. My Arminian theology books and commentaries have dust on them.
