Morally, Trump is a typical president-- adulterous, profane, egotistical, vain.... If other presidents are evaluated with little or no regard to such things, so should he.

Other presidents didn't have an evangelical council. Other presidents didn't garner the highest percentage of evangelical voters. Other presidents didn't claim, "I can't release my tax returns because I'm being audited and the reason I'm being audited is because I'm such a strong Christian." Other presidents don't mistake the communion plate for the offering plate.

Other presidents are not such chronic liars. Other presidents do not insult on a daily basis people who do not agree with them. Other presidents were not married three times and brag about grabbing women. Other presidents did go to church, some more than others.

Has Trump attended a worship service once since taking office, or just played golf?

Do you not remember the cry "Character Matters" during the 90s while Bill Clinton was in office If it mattered when a democrat was in office, It should matter when a "republican" is in office.

It doesn't matter when either of them are in office because.. that's politics. Your question could also be phrased, "If character didn't matter when Slick Willie was in office, it doesn't matter now either."

I was not old enough to vote back during the Clinton administration, but I will tell you that it mattered to me back then, and it still matters to me now. I reject the moral relativism that one must embrace to say that since Clinton got away with it, then its ok for X person to do Y as well.

Unfortunately many Christians are saying, "Character mattered when Slick Willie was in office, but it doesn't matter now."

Trumpscharacter has been fine in office. I didn't give slick Willie a hard time. I think he should have kicked witch Hillary to the curb and moved his girlfriend into the Lincoln Bedroom. Traveled with her on Air force One. His heart was wrong, so at least he should have been honest about it.

Of what moral issue are you accusing him of while he has been in office?

What evidence do you have?

Well as his supporters love to point out, he is quite the Reviler of anyone he deems an enemy.
Donald J. Trump on Twitter
Just his latest example.
And usually the reviling is done to cheers both on here and on facebook among his supporters, since "he fights back"

9Or do you not know that the unrighteousb will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,c 10nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.1 Cor 6:9-11

1But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. 2For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, 4treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. 2 Tim 3:1-5

And lets not forget that his biggest supporter on here is on record of saying that Trump is manipulative, and even after both manipulative and unscrupulous were defined he still agreed that Trump was manipulative in his character. Which for those who don't know Manipulative is defined as being unscrupulous, and unscrupulous is defined as having or showing no moral principles; not honest or fair.

So if his own supporters think he shows no moral, well who am I to argue with that as they follow him closer than I do.

Of course Trump is manipulative, he is a businessman turned politician and he's probably more so than his predecessors, since he was the host of a reality tv show that had the contestants as puppets with Trump controlling the strings. But I can't say Trump is less moral than most of the former presidents, maybe not Carter and Reagan.

But then Carter had a temper and Reagan was distant with his family except for the wife. Grover Cleveland was supposed to have fathered an illegitimate child, Lincoln was probably clinically depressed to the point of psychosis, Wilson hid his physical health from everybody, FDR and Ike had an extra-martial affair and Eleanor had affairs with both sexes. And, of course, JFK was a womanizer protected by the press at the time but everybody knew it, LBJ had a foul mouth and a mistress, Nixon was paranoid to a fault and used some bad (and ant-semetic) language in those infamous tapes, Ford pardoned a criminal because they shared a party, GHWB had a crude sense of humor and he lied about raising taxes, Clinton, well, you know, GWB was stubborn and pretty corrupt himself, Obama was arrogant and aloof, now Trump. It's not "character mattered when Slick Willie was in office, but it doesn't matter now.", it's more "character never matter then, before then, and doesn't matter now".

Acute liar is what the prez is sposed to be?

Other presidents do not insult on a daily basis people who do not agree with them.

I can't tell here whether it's the 'daily basis' or the 'do not agree with' that makes you whine on him.

Other presidents were not married three times and brag about grabbing women.

Maybe FDR and JFK didn't marry the ones they grabbed, but how many slept in the president's bed in the white house?

Other presidents did go to church, some more than others.
Has Trump attended a worship service once since taking office, or just played golf?

Would anybody here want him in your church? Would these communist groups, which also hate Christians, be throwing their bags of filth at the place, setting fires, smashing cars and windows,....?

I'll just make this a general response.

We have no shortage of president Trump and his accusers here.

Reviling and abusive, I'm not going to do a word study - but not much more than other politicians who during the primary lambasted each other mightily.

Whatever happened to "all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"?

How many have prayed for our president?

Yes, I prayed for President Obama - for blessings, for wisdom and enlightenment.

Donald Trump supporters have been sharing fake photos of huge crowds at the US President's Phoenix rally on social media, following claims the event failed to draw big numbers.

City of Phoenix spokeswoman Julie Watters confirmed the figure to The Arizona Republic Thursday morning.

"I can confirm the overall number of people who came to the rally was approximately 15,000," Watters said in an email. "There were more than 10,000 inside and there were approximately between 4,500 to 5,000 outside who were turned away because the event was wrapping up."

Here is the difference I see between past presidents sinful actions and Trumps. I've never seen a fan of JFK say that his stepping out on Jackie made him a great President. Or a fan of Nixon say his paranoia was why they voted for him, or GHWB lying was such a great thing to have in a president. Even with Clinton the argument was that his adultery didn't matter, not that it helped him be a better President. Trump supporters on the other hand laud him for his moral failings and hold them up as reasons to esteem him. So again for me it has never been so much about Trump himself but his supporters and their holding him and his immorality up to be admired. Being manipulative is not a good thing and no one should ever be praised for that moral failing especially by Christians.
