I just started "Consuming Fire" by Kathleen Morgan...it's Christian fiction set in Scotland in 1694. I love fiction and I'm fascinated with Scotland, so, so far, so good!

I just finished Francine Rivers' "And the Shofar Blew." Great book! Click here to read my review of the book.

Exposition of the Gospel of John Arthur W. Pink

Eternal Security Charles Stanley
</font>[/QUOTE]Stanley's book is my favorite on the topic of eternal security. It was one of several books that led to my acceptance of the doctrine.

by Robert Harvey, COCHRANE is the real life British Naval Hero after whom Patrick O'Brian patterned his fictional hero Jack Aubrey.

In the Infallible Inspired Scriptures, I am reading through the New Testament for the umpteenth time - in the Book of Acts right now.

RIght now I'm reading a study on Colossians by Preacher Oliver B. Greene, and (hehe, this might surprise a few) a book on the Catholic Catechesim. And I think pretty soon I'm going to reread "Final Authority" by William Grady. That's got to be my favorite non fiction work! This time I'll read it for details' sake. I want to go through and mark some things for refrence.

Just bought Effective Evangelistic Churches , by Thom Rainer. I've already read High Expectations , which is a study of evangelistic churches that are retaining the vast majority of those who join. This book is the study that High Expectations grew out of. It is the study of 756 churches (with memberships ranging from 60 to over 6000) who have had more new converts per capita. I am really looking forward to this one!!!

In Christ,
