The United States was never a Christian Nation.
Yes, we were founded on Christian-Judeao principals
Yes, many times Christians have had a great influence, ect

But keep in mind the COTUS - "NO RELIGIOUS TEST REQUIRED"
If what that were true, then why did former President Barak Obama have to make the decree that The United States is "no longer a Christian nation" as he bent the knee to Baal?

If the United States was never a Christian nation, then how and why were the Ten Commandments in Court Houses, Public Schools, and other Public Buildings? Why was The Holy Bible taught in Public Schools? Why has every President of The United States of America, in history, been required to take the oath of Office by the use of The Holy Bible? I can go on and on, but The United States was indeed a Christian nation that had generations of faithful Christians. But today, we see a perverse and faithless generation that is rebelling against The Lord their God, even denying His power to set up Kings and take down Kings. Have you ever done a study in the book of Kings and Chronicles along with the related Prophetic Books to learn how The LORD deals with Nations that reject Him? Have you learned how the transgressors are rewarded for the transgressions? Have you learned what will happen to nations that turn against The Lord?

The Ten Commandments were ordered to be removed, and today, we see the Arch of Baal put up, Buddhism and Hinduism taught on Public Television.

The Holy Bible, God, and prayer were kicked out of Public Schools, and replaced with Yoga, Psychology, and hypnosis.

The Nation has rebelled against The Lord, and condoned by the Lukewarm Church.

God Himself ONLY has had ONE nation in a Covenant relationship with Him, Israel under the old Covenant!

If the United States was never a Christian nation, ...

Since you missed it the first time - I will repeat
"we were founded on Christian-Judeao principals

President Obama also said you could keep your doctor ------
so just because he said something
does not necessarily make it true.

I posted Wesley’s words where he said he believes in water baptism for salvation. YOU got all worked up.

What Do YOU believe ? Do YOU believe like Wesley ?

All readers can look back and see.... you all of a sudden with no previous conversation in this thread.....posted in a tizz about the water salvationists quote.

Why did that set you off like that ? What are we to think ? You appeared to be defending the quote.

You're the one that's shouting.

I notice you and 'Heretic Hunter' joined the same day and are piling the 'likes' 'agrees' 'winners' on each other. What does that look like?

That Wesley quote really upset the apple cart of some people.

That is your incorrect opinion.

I simply wondered if you would apply the same exact measures/standards to the Church of England makers of the KJV and their acceptance of baptismal regeneration as you apply to Wesley. Would you suggest that the KJV translators could not have been saved because they accepted their Church of England's doctrine of baptismal regeneration?

In one sermon in 1615, KJV translator Lancelot Andrewes referred to Christ’s baptism as “Christ’s christening” (Chapman, Before the King’s, p. 53). Dorman commented: “For Andrewes, the only way to become a Christian is through the sacrament of Baptism” (Andrewes, p. 127). In a sermon, Lancelot Andrewes noted: “By Him we are regenerate at the first in our baptism” (Ninety-Six Sermons, III, p. 191). Robert Ottley noted that Andrewes considered the Eucharist "both as a sacrament and as a sacrifice" (Lancelot Andrewes, p. 204). The Oxford Encyclopedia of the Reformation observed that Andrewes taught that "the means of grace are the sacraments" (I, p. 42).

You seem to be a baptismal Regenerationist......if not you worry a lot about the quote.

I have nowhere advocated the Church of England's doctrine of baptismal regeneration. I disagree with the Church of England's and Wesley's view of baptism.

Is use of double standards being displayed when the same standards are not applied to the KJV translators?

Dude ? He can’t post without calling a KJB believer a liar.

you say I’m bearing false witness......you teach False doctrine....so I can see you defending Ricky.
KJVO is false belief, as it cannot be supported by either the Bible nor textual criticism....

I have not met any KJVO who demonstrated to me either the love of Christ if you disagree with them, nor maintaining bonds of unity!

It looks like you win the prize for taking notice of a couple of Soldiers of Christ taking a bold stand for truth. We noticed something too; there are some heretics here that despise truth. A couple of which I noted in at least one post on this thread. We also took note of members of the Lukewarm Church allowing for these antichrists to glory as Christians, by their being allowed to preach some "other jesus" that is not The True and Living Lord Jesus Christ that is fully God and fully Man. Yeah, that's right. It appears that the Lukewarmers are on the same team as Jezebel's servants (Satan's ministers) too. I would not reward heretic posts with "likes" or "winners". Details about Satan's ministers are found in 2Cor 11 and 1John 4:1-5 among other passages. More details about Jezebel, the men that hold the doctrines of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, Jezebel's children, and the Lukewarm Church are found in Rev 2-3.

The Lord Jesus Christ has issued a call for repentance to all that will hear His voice.
