Except I just told you it doesn't so stop being dishonest.
As long as your view does not agree with the bible why would I say that it does. Your just saying that does not make it so.

Show me a reference that states God elects based on who he saw would believe in him. You won't find one.
Last I checked, Romans was inspired by God, not an out of context commentary. So your whole post, to put it plainly, is stupid.
I have been shown nothing of the sort. All I have been shown is out of context Scripture.
You obviously don't know what my view is since you can't even be honest about it.As long as your view does not agree with the bible why would I say that it does. Your just saying that does not make it so.
Just read the thread. If you think the verse is being used out of context then show me how.
Read your post.Did I say it was out of context, NO. What your response shows is that you do not understand what the use of Midrash is. But, as per normal, just make pejorative comments.
Strawman. My point is you don't have anything from the Bible that claims that or even infers that. But we DO have direct quotes that say God CHOOSES based on his own pleasure.Same as you will not find one that says God is a trinity, but I do not doubt it. Do you? Well you must as according to you if the exact words are not in the bible then t can not be true.
I did not deny it and you should quit being so dishonest. 1 Tim. 2:4 has a context and you are ignoring it.
On the contrary, I am Calvinist, as long as it agrees with Scripture. All I do is tell you how I read Scripture because it is plainly there.
Read your post.
But when you repeat what we say we believe, you say something different than what we believe. So either you misunderstand us or are dishonest or both. And all I am doing is telling where I see that Calvinism does not fit with scripture. Calvinism, as I have seen it presented and as I have read in their texts undermines the character of God. That is why I disagree with calvinism.

Yes, Romans 8:29, one of the STRONGEST arguments for the Calvinist position. That is foreknew, not foresaw. There is a difference. It is talking about a choice of someone known to Him. An intimate knowledge. One he has chosen. It has nothing to do with him seeing what we would do and making a choice. Please show me the quote that says "God CHOOSES based on his own pleasure". Remember no inference allowed as that is the standard you want everyone else to hold to. And remember choose to service is not the same as choose to salvation.
FYI
Rom_8:29 For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Conformed to the image of His son, those would be the ones that He knew would trust in Christ Jesus, right. Does God know who will come to faith, Yes does He cause them to believe No.
If you say we believe something after we have told you that is not what we believe you have either misunderstood or are dishonest. That is NOT pointing out errors. It is strawman arguments. What you claim to be biblical is in fact not. That is not dishonest or me misunderstanding your view. You and many others have made it clear what you believe. I am just pointing out the errors in your theology.
lol. Man I have been dealing with what you right all along.Do you care to actually deal with what I wrote rather than going on a rant like a spoiled brat?
No, I read the whole thing.Oh yeah I read the Bible, but clearly you read the bolded part, but then don't read past the comma.
Good day my friend.Six hour warning
This thread will be closed no sooner than 6 pm EDT / 3 pm PDT
No, I didn't ignore anything. AND I do not say that world means elect so you can stop pushing that point. No, I read the whole thing.
Your problem is you ignore the bolded part.
You read to make the word fit your belief system, thats why world means elect. All sin forgiven does not mean all sin forgiven. And all the other stuff you read.
