Pancakes. The boy child won the wishbone wish after I carved the chicken last night, and that was his wish.

The girl children will be pleased.

Hubby is working late tonight, so I'm going to have pancakes, too! How weird that 3 of us are doing that. LOL

Yesterday was biscuits and gravy. Today was meatloaf with roast potatoes and carrots.

I've switched our main meal to the afternoon for a while because of dh's schedule. I kind of like it---lets me relax more in the evening as opposed to cleaning the kitchen.

We've begun moving into our new house so meals are fast and easy for awhile: tonight is Spaghetti, Italian Bread, and Salad.

plan to do steak because it is always a winner, any thoughts to make this a meal that would be "home like" for them?

I making chicken vegetable soup and cornbread. I browned my chicken first as it gives the soup a really nice flavor. ;)

What I hate about making soup is that my pot is never big enough. I am using a six quart Dutch oven and can't add everything I want in it. :D
