Sometimes that makes the BEST dinner.

Mandarin Chicken Breasts, Biscuits, Garlicky Mashed Potatoes, Escalloped Corn, and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert.

This is what I'm making for dinner, but my Daughter has surgery tomorrow and everybody's so nerved up I doubt anybody will eat much.

Meatloaf...turned out to be the best one I've ever made! I usually stink at making meatloaf but tried it without a recipe and it turned out great. Whew!

Mashed taters, no box stuff this time. Was turning into a bad habit and nobody really likes them out of a box anyhow.

Green beans. They're always good!

That's it.

Drinking pink lemonade now. Yum!

Tonight it's good old-fashioned country food.....fried potatoes with smoked sausage, navy beans, sliced fresh homegrown tomatoes and hot corn bread. Yummmmmm

Leftovers and some additions from last night, which was glazed ham, green bean casserole, corn, scalloped potatoes, and mousse-filled individual chocolate cakes with fudge frosting - special Father's Day meal. :flower:
