    And I do bring a chip on my shoulder because we are talking about the Lord Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Look around you. You think a sovereign King, the King of the Cosmos, would let this place be infected with all this hate and vile, ungodly living? You are mocking our Lord with this ridiculous thought that His Kingdom is on this Earth physically. Wow.

    It's either arrogance or ignorance that would compel a person to think this.

    First thinks first my friend.

    Earlier you asked;
    Click to expand...
    Glad you asked....
    Driving now.....more later on.....so it is now later on...let's look;
    Joel is warning of judgment on the land....it is to be purged in vs 1-26....there were many such day of the lord's spoken of, but here now we have the good news or gospel Kingdom promised after this purging ....
    27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

    28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

    29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

    30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

    31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.

    32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.

    Not only is this passage quoted in the first sermon on the day of Pentecost , but Paul is also going to use this in Romans 9-15 that I spoke of earlier that we will get to it.
    Romans 10
    11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

    12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

    13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

    Notice the language of vs 30 and 31......God uses metaphorical language in describing literal truth.

    But it does not stop there....look at chapter 3;
    13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the fats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

    14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision.

    15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

    16 The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

    17 So shall ye know that I am the Lord your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

    18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the Lord, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

    19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.

    20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

    21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the Lord dwelleth in Zion.

    Notice the language again....vs 15...the sun and moon darkened, the stars withdraw their shining.....
    vs 16,17 speak of His Holy reign right now from the heavenly Zion and Jerusalem...the true Holy place

    Hebrews 12;
    22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

    23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

    24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

    25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

    26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

    27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

    28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

    29 For our God is a consuming fire. Compare the language from Joel 3.....

    Our Lord and King Jesus the Christ. All authority is given to Him. Fact. He said the Kingdom is within us for now. Fact. Scriptures state He will rule with an iron rod physically planted with both Feet on the Ground. Fact.

    You conveniently left out..

    Joel 3:1-12 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
    I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
    And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
    Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will ye render me a recompence? and if ye recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
    Because ye have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
    The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.
    Behold, I will raise them out of the place whither ye have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
    And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD hath spoken it.
    Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
    Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
    Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
    Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.

    Do tell us what you know about this?

    You have a choice to make.....interact and offer what you think you know, or shrink back and offer clown type posts and accusations. You wanted scripture, you claim to want truth, so let's get to it....I asked you before about your use of mt 24 did you look at the language here;
    isa13
    13 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.

    2 Lift ye up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.

    3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.

    4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the Lord of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

    5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the Lord, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.

    6 Howl ye; for the day of the Lord is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty.

    7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:

    8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them; they shall be in pain as a woman that travaileth: they shall be amazed one at another; their faces shall be as flames.

    9 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

    10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.

    11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.

    12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir.

    13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the Lord of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

    Again isa 34;
    34 Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.

    2 For the indignation of the Lord is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.

    3 Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.

    4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

    5 For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.

    6 The sword of the Lord is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the Lord hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.

    Do you believe the heavens rolled up like a scroll....literally when this judgment took place? You insisted you "hold" to literal judgment....have you answered these sections, by the way the same language was used in revelation;
    12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

    13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

    14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

    15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

    16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

    Could it be you have a wrong view of the kingdom?
    Could it be that the Kingdom conquers the evil?
    the Apostles did not separate the Kingdom from the gospel like the wicked system of dispensationism does.....

    acts 14:
    21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,

    22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God

    Acts28;
    23 And when they had appointed him a day, there came many to him into his lodging; to whom he expounded and testified the kingdom of God, persuading them concerning Jesus, both out of the law of Moses, and out of the prophets, from morning till evening.

    24 And some believed the things which were spoken, and some believed not.

    The reason you can't understand these scriptures, Icon, is because they haven't happened yet.
    What is the supposed difficulty here?

    You are offering your emotional objection here, not based on scripture at all.
    He rules in the midst of His enemies.
    Psalm 110King James Version (KJV)

    110 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

    2 The Lord shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

    Do you have "eyes to see"...what does it say?

    Asked and answered already.
    There is more than one definition of kingdom. I explained that to you already. Go back and read my quote from William MacDonald. Context determines the definition. The definition of the kingdom here does not negate a coming earthly Millennial Kingdom where Christ will physically rule on this earth.

    I am a servant and ambassador in the Kingdom of God who lives in a foreign nation...

    2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

    Icon, what is an ambassador?
