Very ironic thought that one who follows the utterances of a false prophetess would try to school him about false spirits!

That changes my perspective. That means that John of Japan's litmus test for all spiritual gifts to lead to fruit of the Spirit and evangelism is the only biblical litmus test I know of.

the tongues in the Bible always were of a real language, and were used to confirm to the jews that both Gentile and samirtans were now included in salvation of God thru Messiah Jesus, and also used for missionary/evangelism outreach!

I have waited long with continued patience to have evidence, from you, from scripture [KJB] of what you constantly assert by accusation, but even at present, I am still disappointed at not, as of yet, having received such.

What textual [or even historical, character, etc] basis do you make the claim that sister White is/was a false prophet[ess]? [please begin a new thread with your best 5 evidences to begin with]

I started out Baptist and my membership is now Pentecostal Holiness (PH). The PH have altar services where saints and sinners meet for prayer. I have since learned that our services were carried out in same Methods as the Methodist 100 years before us. The mourners bench is the best place to pick up on the things of God...

Here is a thread I started on the old Methodist revivals done right.

Example of a Wesleyan Church Service

24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils.
31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. - Matthew 12

What was the sin here? It was because the Pharisees accused Jesus of being of the unction of the devil, when in actuality he was of unction of the Holy Spirit. If you make fun of someone speaking in tongues speaking in the flesh or of the devil all is good and well. But if you make fun of someone speaking in tongues under the Spirit of God, you have not made fun of the individual, but the Spirit speaking through him. And all is not good and well.

If someone doesn't have access to a "mourner's bench", can they still come to understand the things of God? If so, how?

More like a did the math in my head real fast.

To be exact, as I should have been. Thank you for correcting me. I have had perhaps 30 prophetic words at that church and I would say 5-6 failed. So it is a 20% failure rate.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. - John 16:13

Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps. - Numbers 10:2

    There are two trumpets...
    '
    The Word
    The Spirit

And they are to be used in the assemblies and the journeys of the people.

The Word - Refers to the Spirit
The Spirit - Refers to the Word

I would say it is impossible to receive the actual Holy Spirit and not have a love for the Word of God. That is why the preaching service happened before the time around the mourners bench. The preaching softens up the heart so the Spirit can come in during the prayer time....

    Thank you.

Now, when these words of knowledge (if that's what they are called) are given, do those who give these words say: "The Lord told me. . ." or something to that effect?

The Spirit of God is a Spirit of truth.

21 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the Lord hath not spoken?
22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

The word for presumptuously is zadown in the Hebrew.... Or pride, insolence, presumptuousness, arrogance

There are people who speak out of their own flesh and arrogance. Arrogance is not of the Holy Spirit.

Yes. They differentiate between their own mind and that which comes from God.

How exactly do they make that clear? Is it just as I said, or something else?

They will say "He gave me the following" or "What He gave me is" and differentiate it from "my own opinion or interpretation is..."

    Thanks.

Do you think that God is ever wrong?

Of course not, although I will say that the problem here logically is that there are two groups of people I meet so far. Those who prophesy and have low success, and those who prophesy and seem to always have success. Then again, that those without accuracy are not dealt with is a serious problem I now understand.

Let me try to see if I understand:

    1) God is never wrong.

    2) Some people you know makes these statements, "He gave me the following" or "What He gave me is"

    3) The statements that these people make proceeding #2 are not always accurate. They have been about 80% accurate according to your testimony.

    Is that right, so far?

If E = mc2 then we can divide and conclude that...

    Mass (m) = Energy (E/c2)

    And there are three varieties...

Natural E/c2 - All mass is basically cooled plasma
Mental E/c2 - Mentally, A mathematical formula, but this has chemical and spiritual properties as well.
Spiritual E/c2 - E (motivation, goodness, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)

A true Spirit filled Christian has the correct spiritual light and energies... And there are three types...

Spiritual Light - E (motivation, goodness, warmth, love) / c2 (faith, hope, charity, joy)
    Spiritual Flesh - Arrogance
Spiritual darkness z(absolute zero, badness, coldness, hate) / d (darkness, fear, depression, greed, sorrow)

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? - 1 Corinthians 5:6

Just a little bit of ego makes the whole lump bad. I have heard that the flesh and the devil are so akin it is hard to discern between the two of them. And a spirituality is not knowledge, some people have the bible down pat, but little of the spiritual stuff to go with it.
