The account of David's son honestly has nothing to do with this topic. It is POSSIBLE the son is in Heaven. But that is not the only possibility of David's statement based on culture of that time. You must allow for the possibility that David was not referring to Heaven.

You must also have enough integrity to recant your statement that David was celebrating because the text does not say that.
