Did I say the Bible was wrong? No, you read that into what I said. I said, knowing right and wrong has nothing to do with whether or not something is sin.

 

His arguments are very much in line with Pelagian and I don't think he even realizes it.

 

It seems that he holds that we will not be accounted guilty as being sinners before God until we actually made a decision to sin!

 

How do you know both are not in the wrong? And so one child is capable of sinning and the other not in your view? I'm confused.

The account of David's son honestly has nothing to do with this topic. It is POSSIBLE the son is in Heaven. But that is not the only possibility of David's statement based on culture of that time. You must allow for the possibility that David was not referring to Heaven.

You must also have enough integrity to recant your statement that David was celebrating because the text does not say that.
