Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

God is not a respecter of persons. It sounds as though you think God foresees the self-righteous. And selects them on that basis. But there are none righteous, not one.

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

Most reject the gospel. And many only hear what they want to hear.

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

It is arbitrary. God, not you, gets the glory.

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

TV preachers see lots of greedy converts. Is that how God saves people? How can anyone choose to be saved and not think they are saving themselves?

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

If you stick to the subject, it will make perfect sense. If not by arbitrary selection, He is a respecter of persons.

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

He is no respecter of persons. What good can a totally depraved, spiritually dead human do? Did he see you as a cut above the rest? And saved you for your goodness? Isn't that robbing God of his glory and giving yourself a portion? Yikes, brother...

I think we are misunderstanding each other.....

No choice of the will can ever save a person. It is salvation by works too. But if God saves a person, He will enter their heart providing a new birth that bears witness to His presence, causing them to believe. That is, we believe because He saved us. And not because we chose to believe as kids...

Did Christ Die For The Sin Of Unbelief?

God would be unjust if he saved anyone without first justifying them from their sins. He justified an arbitrarily selected group called the elect to glorify his mercy. And rejected the rest to glorify his wrath and sovereignty. Paul speaks of this in a couple of places. Unbelief is part of his...

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

If you had followed that advice, you could have helped eradicate the spread long ago. It's on you, not me.

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

It lets people know you are responsible and do not want to harm them in any way.

    Understanding The Protestant /Catholic Divide

Good works won't save you. But if God has saved you, your new birth will produce works of love. = Give God the glory, not yourself.

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

So you justify infecting others with deadly diseases by not minimizing contact with others because you don't like the News or key figures it reports on. And think everything is just one big conspiracy? That presents an even worse image for anyone claiming to follow Christ.

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

How do you represent Christ? By exposing others to deadly diseases? What if you are blind to the increase in knowledge in the end times according to Daniel and fail to see God's mercy in the shots?
  17. 1689Dave

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

It's a courtesy to others. How do you represent Christ when people know you would just as soon infect them with a deadly disease as not?

Germany Locks Down the Unvaccinated, Weighs Vaccine Mandate

Thanks for getting your vaccinations. It's a good witness for being concerned about others as Jesus taught. My second Pfizer caused some discomfort and visual abnormalities but cleared up soon. The third didn't have any negative effects.
