    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

And that's my WHOLE point. A stifling of your sanctification results in your NOT being saved. You can't get to Heaven without being FULLY sanctified.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

The point is - your fellowship with him IS your relationship with Him. You can't fellowship with somebody you don't have a relationship with. ALL sin damages our relationship with God because it is moral evil and contrary to the nature of God Himself.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

    Ummmm, you already DO.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

Can YOU produce a single verse of Scripture from Paul that makes the claim that we are saved by "grace alone through faith alone"?? If you can't then Trent DIDN'T reject Pauline justification.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

Sooooo, you feel that you'll be fully sanctified after sinning for the rest of your life without repenting of it??

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

The "incorruptible and undefiled inheritance" is referring to the fact that we won't have corruptible BODIES in Heaven. We will be fully glorified just as Jesus was glorified after the Resurrection. Verse 5 states that all of this is guarded through FAITH. It's not guaranteed if we LOSE faith.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

No - I'm just here to stop the spreading of misinformation about Catholic teaching. There's PLENTY of it around here . . .

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

That is a completely nonsensical statement. Your fellowship with God IS your relationship with God.
  9. M

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

This is absolute nonsense. Show me the excerpt from the document at Trent that "rejected" Paul's teaching on justification. Since YOU keep making this claim - I want documented evidence.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

So, when are you r fully sanctified?
  11. M

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

Right - IF you are immersed in Christ. EVERY time we sin, however - we are NOT immersed in Christ. Every one of the verses you posted above is an admonition to STAY strong. If your false, man-made doctrine of Eternal Security were true, we wouldn't need these admonitions because we would...

    Reformers' interpretations of the AntiChrist

And YOUR problem is that you don't seem to understand what sin is. Sin is moral evil - it is rebellion against God. The idea that we CAN commit moral evil against God and NOT have to repent is unscriptural. The Bible is filled with verses that tell us our salvation is secured IF we endure in...

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

I fully agree with these passages - especially the text in RED. These promises are made to those who are IN CHRIST. When a follower of Christ forsakes Him - he is no longer in Christ and is subject to the LOSS of his security as we are warned (Matt. 5:13, Matt. 7:21, Rom. 11:22, Heb. 10:26-27...

    Reformers' interpretations of the AntiChrist

Jesus won't ever forsake one of His own because He is ALWAYS faithful. Man is NOT always faithful and that is why so many forsake Him. As for Peter and the author of Hebrews "confirming" the security of the elect - you are dead wrong. They are warning converted, born-again Christians not to...

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

"Will sustain" means He is sustaining us. That is BEING sustained (saved). "Those who are BEING SAVED": New International Version New Living Translation English Standard Version Berean Study Bible Berean Literal Bible New American Standard Bible New King James Version Christian Standard Bible...

Is Obedience a Condition of Salvation?

    Actually - not so much (Matt. 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23, 1 Tim. 3:15, Eph. 1:22-23).

Is Obedience a Condition of Salvation?

I don't care if you are or aren't. What you SHOULD do is pay attention to what Scripture and the Church have been teaching for thousands of years.
  18. M

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

First of all - it's not "Pauline" justification. He would be the first one to tell you that it is only through CHRIST - and NOT Paul. Secondly - I understand it perfectly - I simply reject YOUR perversion of it.
  19. M

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

Since we are justified - we have a way out when we sin, which is through Christ. It doesn't mean that we stand blameless for the rest of our lives no matter what we do. We STILL have to repent and ask for forgiveness when we sin.

    The False Doctrine of Purgatory

So, you will never sin again?
