So you think creeds are perfect?

    OSAS made simple

Christ's imputed righteousness cannot sin. That's the works I trust in. But I work on my wood, hay, and stubble works in thanksgiving even though they lack the capacity of God's imputed righteousness. You need to get a hold of this.

    OSAS made simple

I said before, points 4&5 are off but it's the closest I can come to finding bible truth. How many splinters do you have in your eyes?

    OSAS made simple

I know the difference and you go with Dort who is correct on the first 3 points but in line with universal atonement and works on points 4 & 5. Let's not get cocky.

    OSAS made simple

As I said before, Dort got the last 2 points wrong, based on Calvin's universal atonement logic. It should be that the New Birth produces habitual holiness. Just as a cat acts like a cat. Or a dog like a dog. The new birth turns believers into Christians, in the biblical sense of the term...

    OSAS made simple

You cannot have saving faith if you think you can be lost.

    OSAS made simple

You are falsely accusing me of manipulating scripture. The main point is if you do not trust in Christ's imputed righteousness, rather than your own, you cannot have saving faith. You cannot have saving faith if you think you can be lost.

Where does the Bible teach a pre-trib rapture?

If you discover that Revelation is a book of symbols not to be taken literally, 1000 = a long time. It also is called "the binding of Satan". Samson killed 1000 Philistines. Was that literal? Or a term like oodles of Philistines? God owns the cattle on 1000 hills. Literally? If so who owns the...

Where does the Bible teach a pre-trib rapture?

If you look up "kingdom" it's all the same gospel of the kingdom preached by all. Especially look at Peter's sermon in Acts 2. It combines the death, burial, and resurrection with Jesus' present reign from David's throne in heaven since his resurrection. Paul says he must reign (Now) until he...

    OSAS made simple

“For as by one man’s disobedience many were made (constituted) sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made (constituted) righteous.” Romans 5:19 (KJV 1900) What most do not understand is that Christ saves believers through His shed blood and his imputed righteousness. Our works are...

Where does the Bible teach a pre-trib rapture?

You need to study the gospel of the kingdom in the gospels. It disproved the Pharisees Millennial theory. You will never understand Christ until you see the differences between the Pharisee's millennial teachings and the gospel of the kingdom.

Where does the Bible teach a pre-trib rapture?

You are importing Phariseeism into Christianity and like them, rejecting Christ's gospel of the Kingdom. You need to stand back and reassess your position. There is NO millennium. It is Phariseeism as it stands after God blinded them so they could not know the truth.

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

Jesus is Amillennial, so am I. You lack understanding of end-times positions.
  16. 1689Dave

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

You read at the same level as the Pharisees whom God blinded.
  17. 1689Dave

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

But you read symbols as if they are literal = you cannot understand Revelation.

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

Only according to the blind Pharisees. And perhaps those who reject historic Christianity for Jesuit lies.
  19. 1689Dave

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

You don't realize that God blinded the Pharisees so they could not understand scripture. And you along with them reject Jesus' gospel of the Kingdom and side with those who hate him most.

Will there be a "millenium" in which Jesus physically rules this earth?

If you use scripture IN IT's CONTEXT, Dispensationalism cannot stand for a moment. It's only after you do like Lindsay says in so many words, "clip passages from their context to combine them to fit today's News, that it finds broad acceptance.
