Is Contemporary Christian Music/Christian Rock wordly and sinful?

But what about the nature of the sounds that hes using? Are these sounds really Holy? Should we really place the message of Christ to a sound that the world has used to promote drugs, sex, and other thug related activities?

Slavery in the Bible and Witnessing....

Here's a post by Ray Comfort: love apologetics. In fact, "The Evidence Bible" is filled with hundreds if not thousands of them. However, it’s important to know that if you want to be effective in reaching the unsaved not to spend too much time addressing their “carnal” mind with apologetics...

Firstly:For those who hold to Lordship Salvation, Could you please explain your view of the doctrine and what scriptures you use to justify the position. Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

I dont think you quite understand what he means by struggle theology. His point is not that we wont have conflict, or battles.. The point is that we can have genuine victory in our lives over sin, unfortunately many of us have accepted an "im just human so i'll accept sin" attitude.

Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

praise the Lord. I think it's sad that we get saved by faith, but then try to live the Christian life in the power of the flesh. The Evangelist in the messages made the comparison that Christians are trying to live out sanctification the same way that many cults are teaching salvation, by...

Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

I finished listening to the necessity of the wilderness, Oh how the Spirit has broken me and shown me just who I really am, I am a sinner bent on fires of hell, I am selfish, and carnal, and there is no help for me apart from the divine supernatural power of Christ, I am so glad for access to...

Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

The sum of his teaching is that many Christians have accepted an inconsistent form of Christian living that is characterized by defeat and lack of joy and carnal living, and that God has provided for us a way to live in victory over sin. Of course his series deals with the reality of the...

Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

I'm sure glad God gave me more than 250 words in the bible. Perhaps you should listen to the first message before you make judgments. Considering the state of our nation and the state of Christianity in general, a emphasis on Victorious Christian Living would benefit every one of us. It...

Trying to live a Victorious Christian Life?

Here is a series of sermons from a friend of mine who is an Evangelist: This series of messages is extremely convicting, if you are struggling to have victory over sin, if you're just not where you know the Lord wants you to be: this is the series for you. Everyone once in a while I run...

    Profound Spurgeon Quote

From Lectures to my Students. "More and more am I jealous lest any views upon prophecy, church government, politics, or even systematic theology, should withdraw one of us from glorying in the cross of Christ. Salvation is a theme for which I would fain enlist every holy tongue. I am...

    Fundamentalists least educated

It all can be summed up this way. Ecc 2:13-16 Then I saw that wisdom excelleth folly, as far as light excelleth darkness. The wise man's eyes are in his head; but the fool walketh in darkness: and I myself perceived also that one event happeneth to them all. Then said I in my heart, As...
