    Mark 4:1-20

By my logic? I didn't use "my logic." I made a statement. Look, the fruit of the spirit is Galatians 5; longsuffering, meekness, peace, etc. Any/all of those are exhibited by those who reject Christ. Their fruit does not mean they're saved. Requiring fruit is akin to requiring someone to...

    Mark 4:1-20

Evangelist doesn't believe in works-based salvation. What he's espousing is that fruit (of the Spirit) shows you're saved; but without any fruit, he has to question if you're saved.

    Mark 4:1-20

Not one of those that cries "Lord, Lord"; but in return, hears "depart; I never knew you." One who will not see the fires of hell; one who has the promise of heaven.

The appropriate and not appropriate way to evangelize a apostate church

Here's a thought: Write the letter. Then where you wrote "Dear _____", put your name. Then read it as if you just received it from a pentecostal or a mormon. If you would be offended by it, well, there's your answer. The same goes for visiting another church and leaving tracts. If you found a...

    Mark 4:1-20

I agree that only one "seed" is representative of someone who is truly saved. I use Hebrews 10:38-39 as my reference for this understanding. I disagree about fruit being required as "proof" of salvation.

An assignment for saved and born again BB Members

I have an assignment for members of the board, especially Evangelist: I led music at my church this morning. I challenge each and every member, especially Evangelist, to lead the morning worship music at their church.

    Confused with Joel Osteen

    1) Who's trying to stop you or talk you out of it? Instead, YOU'RE trying to talk us into it, when we're pointing out that God has different missions for us. 2) You're sending letters that you know challenge others' beliefs, knowing full well that doing so causes strife with unbelievers--but...

The grim reaper can scare people!

Why do you assume anyone's against it?

    Another failed promise?

Yup. But in this case, people actually expected him to make it happen. Oh, well.

An assignment for saved and born again BB Members

That's because the answer should be obvious: Anyone who states sola scriptura and/or indicates he should use the Bible as his resource instead of all the books he's fond of telling everyone he's reading. I really would like a well-thought-out answer to my question; but I'm afraid I'm never...

    Another failed promise?

Here's where you're incorrect: "By now." It was never "by now." I learned from first-hand experience, they knew from the get-go. Consider, poncho: If someone tells you they're going to buy you a glass of your favorite beverage, do you say no? If someone says they're giving you a riding mower...
