Amy! What a silly question! Of course he would. But did you not read that he repented for every single one of his sins? I have no clue how long this took I guess it must have taken a few months to do this but he obviously did it.
Strange, that the bible doesn't mention the sinner on the cross confessing every single one of his sins.... maybe he didn't even go to heaven....maybe Jesus was mistaken.....

    xdx,

I will not try to justify sin by constantly grasping for straws that aren't there. Paul said casting down every imagination. Seems you have alot of imagination there.

The billboard scenario? No go. Anyone who has read all of my posts in the past know I am blind. The billboard thing won't work. Stop trying to accuse me of sin and stop trying to plant sins. That is satan's job.

No, but I can honestly stand before God and say that I trusted totally in HIM and HIS payment for my sins, even the ones I forgot about.

Mt:15:6: And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.

I was not referring to you, I don't even know you. This is the first time I even read your name on this forum, okay?
And what does planting sins mean and why are you trying to intimidate me? Is this your usual strategy to shut people up? Spiritual abuse strategies? This is fine, isn't it? Simply intimidating others and threatening them. Yeah.

If the Holy Spirit reveals a sin to you and you do not repent and you die, you will go to hell.

Heb:10:26: For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins

Claudia, I'm not trying to weasel around anything. But, to say that we if we do not confess every single sin before we die, we go to hell is rejecting God's grace. Jesus died because we CANNOT be good enough to save ourselves. I obey God because I love Him more than anything or anybody, but sometimes I fail and yes, I even sin. But the blood of my Savior covers all of my sins even those I have forgotten about.

Have you never sinned knowing that you're sinning?

Somehow I have a hard time believing this.

You are using this verse totally out of context. Very dangerous. This is what cults do in order to mess people up completely.

All sin is willful unless you believe that the Holy Spirit doesn't warn us BEFORE we commit the sin.
    You left out some verses:
    Hebrews 10:26-29
26 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace.
These verses are talking about the Jewish Christians falling back into following the law instead of the grace of Christ.

Look, People can get into this "how perfect is perfectly perfect?" but honestly, you would just come to a statemate doing that...

you dont have to take everything to its complete extreme.

Then again you shouldnt just try to ignore what God says either.

you have not answered my question :)

have you never sinned knowing that it's a sin? do you only do sins and later on find out that it was a sin? then your sin ratio has to be really really low because you only do every sin once and after finding out that it is a sin you never do it again. this is simply amazing! how do you do this? tell me. how do you do this? :love2:

    Amy,

NO... it is saying we have insulted God's grace if we think we can ABUSE His grace by going on living in SIN

It seems to me that when you take verses out of context and try to build a doctrine around them that you are the one ignoring what God says.
