Do people which commit suicide automatically go to hell?

    What verse says, "Jim, finally we agree on something...?"

    10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. (Hebrews 10:10, NKJV).

    So, the idea that one who is saved would then go to hell for suicide...that doesn't fall in to "once for all?"

    Thats why that "Once Saved always Saved" baloney is so dangerous.

    What about the martyrs of the first and second centuries A.D.? There were many who were persecuted, tortured and killed for the name of Christ. They did not reject Christ and look for another way out.

    John the Revelator was put in a vat of boiling oil before being exiled to the Isle of Patmos. Yet he did not committ suicide. No, he drew closer to the Lord and relied on Him to carry him through and sustain him. Do you not think that that torture he went through weighed on his mind?

    One who is saved will not commit suicide. One who commits suicide has not eternal life in him. One who murders self will have his part in the lake of fire.

    A Christian cannot live without sinning.

    God through John says to saved Christians:
    1 John 1:9-10 (KJV1611):
    If we confesse our sinnes,
    hee is faithfull, & iust to forgiue vs our sinnes,
    and to cleanse vs from all vnrighteousnesse.

    10 If we say that we haue not sinned,
    wee make him a liar, and his word is not in vs.


    I really do not know what "that" means in your sentence.

    BTW, it is dangerous to deny God's Truth by comparing it
    to 'baloney'.

    Shiloh, we all sin, as Ed just told you, and as I said earlier.

    But as I also said as so many seem to deny, the Word of God is clear that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him and all murderers will have their part in the lake of fire.

    If one is saved, one is not going to produce such a wicked fruit as murder of that which God has bought with a price. The Bible is clear that no murderer will inherit the kingdom of God. If you murder yourself, you cannot repent of that murder, you will die in your sin..

    If you murder another, and don't feel repentant, or you feel you did no wrong, and you feel not the chastening hand of God for that murder, you cannot have been saved in the first place.

    I completely believe in the Sovereignty of God but there is no way that I believe in the distortion of the truth that says that we can act however we want, like a bunch of heathens and still go to heaven.

    There wont be any rebels in heaven.

    Standing, I was praying last night in bed and God gave me a verse for you,

    Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

    "Henry"
    This ever-living high priest is able to save to the utmost - in all times, in all cases, in every juncture - all who come to God by him.

    "Barnes"
    This does not mean simply "forever" - but that he has power to save them so that their salvation shall be "complete" -
    εἰς τὸ παντελὲς eis to panteles. He does not abandon the work midway; he does not begin a work which he is unable to finish. He can aid us as long as we need anything done for our salvation; he can save all who will entrust their salvation to his hands.

    There is a difference between salvation in the eternal sense, and salvation in the timely, or temporal sense, Claudia.
    The eternal salvation of God's children is dependent entirely on the mercy of God, the atonement and the blood of Christ, and provided unconditionally by God to His people.
    There is no requirement for church membership, no requirement for anything else, not even the knowledge of the Bible and what it commands.
    It is something that God, entirely on His own decision and based on His mercy to whom He wants to be merciful, provided free.
    That is why it is Grace.
    One's obedience, or disobedience, one's holy living, or lack of it, does not take an iota out of, or away from, his eternal standing with God.

    However, once a child of God hears the gospel, he is required to repent, having now been confronted with truth in this plane called time. He is now required, obligated, to gospel obedience. His gospel obedience naturally results in blessings and protection from his Savior and Lord. Obedience is not a requirement to obtain blessings. Blessings is the natural reaction of God to His child's obedience and submission. Just as curses and disease are the natural results of sin and disobedience.

    The call to gospel obedience is something that the child of God, a fallen but redeemed sinner, can, and at times, do, resist. Sin is natural in this unredeemed body, and resistance to sin depends on the amount of spiritual food one feeds on.

    Therefore, a saint can indeed be a saint of God, yet live and act in such a fashion so as to be indistinghuishable from the wicked. You have several examples in the Bible.
    Samson, for one. Then, you have Lot. Nothing in the Bible says that Rahab ceased harlotry. Oh, sure, we can love to think she did, but if it is something the Bible did not state, then it is conjecture.

    Vice versa, the wicked can live and act in such a fashion as to be indistinghuishable from the righteous (in Christ). Devout devotees of certain religions for example.

    How about sticking to not responding unless you have something decent to say.

    And you said you were praying last night. How about going back and praying that God will shut your mouth until you are capable of acting in some sort of a Christian manner?

    You really need to try to get over your bizarre obsession with me and direct your attention elsewhere. It is unnatural.

    I realize that Christians might fall, etc and so forth but I do not believe that we can be in the act of murder when we die and still go to heaven. Im sorry. David repented.


    Galatians 5:19-21. Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
    Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
    Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

    Ephesians 5:5-7. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
    Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
    Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

    1 Corinthians 6:9-10. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
    Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

    1 Timothy 4:16. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

    1 Timothy 5:11-12. But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry;
    Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith.

    2 Peter 2:20. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

    Romans 11:19-22. Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
    Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
    For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
    Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shall be cut off.

    I hate doing this, but SFIC has fallen into the trap of not answering some of the more difficult issues he is creating, so here's my question, again...

    I have a feeling that you have absolutely no response for the above question and example.

    Many do not truly come to Him. Many make a profession, do many works in His name, but still will hear those fateful words... 'Depart from me, I never knew you.'

    God knows the heart. If God knows what our hearts are like, that it is deceitful above all others and desparately wicked, don't you think He can see forward to our great sins we commit and see that many that are branches are not truly in the Vine as they may claim? That the fruit they produce, if it is evil, they are not His? Or was Jesus lying when He spoke of these things.

    As I said in an earlier post, Ezekiel clearly shows that the righteous man that turns from his righteousness to abominable acts will die.

    I have followed Solomon's advice and answered the questions that rbell asked before. If he does not see the answers in my posts, then he isn't looking for them.

    Any regarded sin in one's heart that one dies in shows that one never was Christ's.

    Why do people commit suicide? Love of self. Why do people get depressed? Love of self. Self-centeredness is pride. One of the deadly sins.

    I believe Job went through more trials than anyone else who is a child will ever go through. Yet he did not attempt suicide. He knew God would bring him through
