    I believe "it boils down to" which evidence an individual chooses to accept or believe (think human evolution versus creationism, as an example).

    I believe this is true to a great extent. Sadly I have found that many people can't be bothered with evidence. As long as it doesn't divide the body of Christ I can accept a contrary position.

    I think that I have 48 Bibles. I have the KJV/NKJV/ESV/NASB/CSB,HCSB,NLT,AV1611/Geneva. It has broadened my knowledge. Yesterday, I bought a NKJV Evidence Bible that comes from Living Waters. I will use it for witnessing.

    Why not present the three worst translation verses in the NIV in your opinion, unless, like the KJVO folks, you think the NIV cannot be improved.

    I wouldn't update the NIV until after the massive ECM project is finished. I think the date is something like 2030. Once this project is done, nearly all translations based on the Nestle Aland text will likely be updating.

    *I am assuming we are talking a major update. Not just fixing a few words. I would have no issue with the NIV moving a few of their footnotes up into the main text immediately. Such as Roman's 16:1 and 16:7

    I am not a KJVO. I asked you to identify where you came across the information you posted. So far you haven't answered.

    I don't read the NIV enough to claim one a favorite.
